High Plains Tech Center - Business and Marketing
Welcome to the Business and Marketing class at High Plains Technology Center
Great job representing HPTC DECA Tucker!
🚀 Last week, the newly elected state officers from all seven student organizations came together for an incredible experience at CareerTech University!
Over two days, these outstanding individuals immersed themselves in learning everything has to offer and focused on sharpening their leadership skills with their respective teams.
This intensive training not only enhanced their understanding of CareerTech but also equipped them with the confidence and competence to make a significant impact in their organizations and beyond.
We are incredibly proud of the progress our 2024-2025 State Officers have made and are excited about the big things that lie ahead. Stay tuned as they apply their newfound skills and take their organizations to new heights!

Congratulations to the May Students of the Month: Erick Contreras and Claire Chance!!
Erick Contreras is an adult auto student from Seiling. Erick says that the Auto Program has taught him how to complete repairs the right way and has guided him on how to be more professional and responsible in his job. His favorite aspect of High Plains is the auto shop because it is his place to work and develop new skills and a place that has developed close friendships as well. Erick’s main goal is to become a Mopar Chrysler technician and later open his own business as a mechanic.
Claire Chance is a senior from Fort Supply School and is in the Business and Marketing program. She says that High Plains has greatly enhanced her confidence and ability to speak publicly. She has learned more about the business side of the world and it has prepared her for her future at college. She has enjoyed her time at High Plains mostly because of the people that she has met, including her classmates, teacher, and various people she’s met within DECA competitions. After high school, Claire is going to attend OSU and major in animal science, then attend vet school. After getting a degree, she plans to open and work at her own vet clinic in a rural location.
DECA ICDC Day 3. Not as many pictures today as we were busy working and testing. We had fun at Downtown Disney this evening.
