missBEEhaving has been working on bath & body products for this year’s Christmas Sip & Shop. The honey lip balm is ready and is unBEElievable! The peppermint orange scented honey balm will leave your lips hydrated and feeling soft & supple. This is great for our dry Colorado weather. Keep watching for other scents and new products coming soon. These are available for $4 each or 1 free with a $25 honey purchase.

I’m infusing honeys today and I decided to create a new one for the lineup, Orange Cardamom HoneyBEE.
I envision this one being BEElicious in an orange cardamom chicken dish, mixed with chipotle on beef, or drizzled over roasted acorn squash or sweet potatoes. It could possibly end up in a curry or even a coffee. Oh, maybe whipped with chocolate for a winter flavor. Can’t wait to taste how this beautiful one turns out.
Lavender Lemon is also being infused today. So far it has only been available in limited supply, but those that have tried it have voiced it to be one of their favorites.

As you plan out your holiday shopping, don’t forget to stop by our 2nd annual Christmas Sip & Shop, where you are sure to find amazing gifts for every person on your list and probably even a few for yourself.
Also, come enjoy a bowl of chili and cinnamon rolls on Saturday, all the proceeds from these will go to Laugh Out Loud ministry, a children’s home in Southern Belize run by my cousins Jervis and Melissa Fisher. A few of our lovely husbands are going to host this lunch and they are so excited! So bring your husband, he can hang out with the guys while you shop.
Are you coming? Don’t forget to bring a friend.
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year 🎄

This weekend we started infusing honey for this year’s Christmas Sip & Shop, which will take place on December 8-9 on Saltops once again. The darker jar on the left was the last jar I had from last year’s honey harvest, the jar on the right was just harvested a couple of weeks ago, much lighter. I’m excited to see how the lighter honey allows the infused flavors to BEE the main attraction in these jars.
Mark your calendars for December 8-9, we have some new vendors, new activities, and we will be highlighting a ministry near and dear to my heart, LOL children’s home in Southern Belize. Part of the proceeds will go to support the work that they are doing. more information coming soon.

New honey drumroll, please!
Lavender CinnaBEE!
Lavender is probably the most requested flavor that we have had, so we decided to play and Lavender Cinnamon is what we’ve created.
I think this one would be really good in a Lavender Chai Latte, a Steamy London fog, or a Lavender Almond Milk Steamer.
Today I tried on a sourdough English muffin, it was very tasty with light notes of lavender and cinnamon.
I only have 9-4oz bottles of this one right now, it’s worth a try.

What a beautiful sunrise! Today we are infusing a brand new flavor, any guesses what it might be? First one to guess will receive a 4 ounce bottle of this 🐝BEElicious blend!

Split a pumpkin muffin in two today, topped half with Harvest Spice and the other half with Latin LoverBEE. They were both unBEElievably delicious. I love pumpkin flavors, and with a little bit of chocolate and a little bit of spice, oh my goodness 🐝 and both of these flavors are fantastic in a cup of coffee, makes the best latte ever without all the junk.

missBEEhaving Hot Honey now has 6 hot honey flavors.

1. Fiery hot— The original infused hot honey, which remains a favorite drizzled on top of everything. Fiery hot is infused with Serano and a habanero peppers and it is guaranteed to keep its heat even after you put it on food, The original goal that MissBEEhaving had for her hot honey.
2. ImmuniBEE— A sweet and spicy infusion of honey, ginger, turmeric, garlic, black pepper, cinnamon, lemon peel, cayenne pepper, and apple cider vinegar. This spicy infusion helps in boosting immunity.
3. Whipped ginger peach— Colorado peaches are always a favorite so we decided to whip some honey and infuse it with Colorado peaches and spicy organic ginger. This honey is when you want to BEE extra sweet and spicy!
4. Latin LoverBEE— this one was created out of our Queen Bee’s love for the flavors and culture of Latin America. Fiery hot whipped honey with organic fair trade cocoa added. This one’s sure to make you Tango & Habla Español.
5. Let it BEE—our tribute to the Beatles. One of the goals for missBEEhaving Hot Honey is to have some element of hot in every flavor. This honey has light notes of Earl Grey Tea and Vanilla. The only thing hot in this honey is the picture of the Beatles on the label. This one is the favorite of many.
6. Hibiscus GingerBEE— this is one of the first ones we were trying to create, but the last one to be completed so far. It took a while, but it’s well worth the wait. It is a tropical infusion of honey, hibiscus tea leaves, and organic ginger.

Hibiscus GingerBEE finally passed the taste test and is now available for sale! This one took a little longer to develop, but the results are so BEElicious!! It’s a true tropical infusion of honey, hibiscus tea leaves, and organic ginger. You can taste just a slight hint of the sour of the hibiscus, the spicy of the ginger, and the sweet of the honey. Tried a spoonful and a mug of hot water and it was so refreshing and good! This would be great as a hot tea or an iced tea. Honestly, it’s good just eating it off the spoon 😂🌺🐝

After my posting about missBEEhaving Hot Honey yesterday, several of you have contacted me to ask me what’s up?? Hot honey, that’s what’s up! 🔥🐝

Why Hot Honey???
We’ll, first of all cause it’s really good! It’s my favorite condiment and if you haven’t tried it, you are really missing out.
But there’s a couple of other reasons also.
Earlier this year, after we bought our Ooni pizza oven, I created a flavor with caramelized leeks and hot honey. It’s by far my favorite pizza yet! I was buying my hot honey at the local grocery store or at our local farmer's market. It was good, but what I was finding is if you tried the honey by itself, it was hot, but the minute you added it to food it lost its heat. I was really looking for something that would make my nose run, but not kill the tongue. If I’m going to use something hot, I want to know that it’s hot, I don’t just want to read it on the label. So, I decided I’d try to figure out how to make my own hot honey. I did a bunch of research, tried a few different pepper combinations and finally came up with a recipe that I think is really good and will measure up to anything I’ve been able to buy on the market.
I am sourcing all my products locally, as much as I possibly can. The honey is from a bee farm right down the road from me and they have over 120 hives all over Larimer, Weld, and Boulder County. Eventually I want to have my own bees, but that’s a huge learning curve that I haven’t gotten to yet. There’s a lot of benefit to locally sourced honey, especially if you have allergies, which I’ve been struggling with hugely this year. I am sourcing locally grown peppers whenever possible, as you know in Colorado, they’re not available locally all year round, but I am able to process them and hopefully the majority of my peppers will be able to stay locally grown. If you have a surplus of hot peppers in your garden, I would love to talk to you and see if I could purchase some from you.

I didn’t just want honey that tasted good, but it is important to me that missBEEhaving honey is good for you. Honey that has not been heated over 110° has a lot of benefits to your immune system, it is also known to help fight against inflammation, and if it is locally sourced honey, it has been known to help with those darn seasonal allergies. Did you know that honey can also be used as a cough suppressant? I’ve had this rotten cough since early May, but I’ve noticed this week after trying countless spoonfuls of honey, I’m not coughing anymore. There are a ton of benefits to eating locally sourced honey that has not been heated above 110°. So MissBEEhaving Hot Honey will never be heated over 110°.

I also love to cook, many of you know that, I love to create new things, my own recipes, things that seem outside the box, or as one of my good friends says, outside of the margins ❤️ I will be posting different ways to use missBEEhaving Hot Honey, right now one of my favorite ways is drizzled over pizza, drizzled over grilled chicken or salmon, and drizzled over roasted brussels sprouts or carrots actually makes them taste BEElicious. And of course, in hot tea or coffee.

So here I am, I have a HOT HONEY product that I think is pretty good (my taste testers think so also) and it is good for you.

Currently I have a Fiery Hot Honey 🔥🐝, yes it does have a little bit of a punch, but it meets my goal, makes your nose run, but doesn’t kill your tongue!
I have a second flavor that isn’t quite ready yet, Hibiscus-Ginger. Hibiscus is known to lower blood pressure, improve heart health, and also boosts your immune system. Ginger helps fight off stress in your body as well as fighting off disease. When this one is complete, I think it’s going to be great in a cup of Hot tea this winter.
Next, I am creating an immunity boost honey, for those times your body starts missBEEhaving!! In our post-Covid world, we’ve all realized the importance of a good immune system!

So, there you go, that’s what’s up in my world.

If you’re interested in purchasing some of my missBEEhaving Hot Honey, I have two sizes available.
