Madtown Fishing Experience

Got out for The first time of the season for some Sturgeon.

Last week Nolan and I got out on the boat. For a Saturday morning of fishing. With catfishing slowing down for the year. We went and fished for pike and Bass. We found the pike right away and got surprised by catching 3 walleye a 17 18 and Nolan got a real nice 22 incher. Then mid morning we went to at least try for a catfish. We went to the deeper water and got out a few catfish poles out. Well the pic says it all Nolan got a personal best. By more than double the weight, a nice 15lber. Awesome day of fishing. We put over 30 fish in the boat.🎣

Wife and I got out fishing today. Water is finally warming up.Fun day by the water.

Anyone else enjoy catching carp. Carp fishing is so much fun. I got it right up there with Catfish and Sturgeon. Especially if you can get into the 15lb plus.

That time I got a triple header. What a rush it was crazy. I was by myself and all 3 poles were slammed. All 3 were over 18 lbs. I can’t wait for Spring.

Carp fishing was something I started after the spring catfishing slows down. July and August. I learned how to make all my own pack baits. I use a method feeder and a hair rig. I Love fishing for carp. So fun..
