After 9 1/2 hours, we made it back from Houston. We were so excited & emotional to see all our planning, researching, collaboration, & dreams become a reality. Tomorrow we get to play Food Truck! 😂😂

Headed to town with our portfolio for a health dept meeting. Lol! This is the schoolhouse equivalent to a student-led conference.

Busy bees at Chef Units Food Trucks today as the guys worked to git ‘er done! 🎉🎉

Played around with fresh shrimp this evening in a new recipe. It was yummy!

Went to Chef Units today to see the Vittles & Grub trailer! So exciting to get to see it in person!!! Can’t wait to get cookin’!

Playing around with creating the perfect jalapeño popper grilled cheese on this rainy day.
Country white bread toasted to a buttery/cheesy crisp with a sprinkling of jalepeno bits. A cream cheese mixture that includes bacon, jalepeno, & a carefully chosen blend of cheeses. Spot on! This one will definitely make the A list.

Many thanks to good friends, the clammies for coming over for a tasting party. Had a blast and appreciate your honest praises as we served Dr. Pepper pulled pork tacos & margarita beignets. &grub

Trial run on our buttermilk chicken sandwich this evening. Omg! It was sooo good. All the flavors & textures melded together perfectly. In fact, our taste testing neighbors called it pure perfection! He also said it’s clear we are cooking with love. That makes my ❤️ 😃!

Played around today experimenting with making Texas beer battered corn dogs. They turned out really good. Received a good critique from a neighbor saying they were delicious. He & his wife loved the taste & textures. He even came back later asking if we had any more! Yay!

Have a wonderful Easter! He is risen! Thank you, Lord for all of our blessings!
