Liz, Bob, and Chuck recently recorded three songs at Berwyn Recording Studio that were also mixed into a medley. We are excited about the results and the songs with accompanying slide show will be posted on YouTube, Coolerbythecreek,com web site, and here, on our FB page in the next few days!

Liz, Bob, and I had a great time at the Croatian Cultural Club last Friday evening in spite of the storms coming through! Great crowd, lots of compliments, people dancing to every song! It's a great place to play and we love whenever we're there! We'll be back soon!

IN MEMORIUM
Cooler By The Creek suffered a great loss when leader, Mike Zigrossi, recently passed away. He founded the band, was the lead male vocalist, acoustic guitarist, booking agent, sound man, song selector, song charter, and even set up and ran the lights! A one man show! Definitely from his being a drama director and teacher at Joliet Central HS until he retired.
He was a dynamic force on and off the stage. Always smiling and always happiest when playing guitar, bass or banjo on a stage anywhere. Genre didn't matter because he easily switched from polkas, to classic rock, to country.
Mike is thought of and missed every day by many of us and I know whenever we play out he'll be joining us in spirit.
Thank you, Mike. We miss you and will always love you and hold you in our hearts and minds.

Cooler By The Creek recently lost Mike Zigrossi: leader, guitarist, singer, sound man, music selector, and just about any other aspect of the band you can imagine! He was a dynamic force on and off the stage and is greatly missed. Our drummer decided to hang up his sticks so the three of us were left. That's when Bob, bass player, suggested an acoustic trio.

We are thrilled with the sound, song selections, and possibilities! We play most of the songs the original Cooler By The Creek played so we're still great for line dancers! We've been adding new songs and are excited about our song selections.
