I received a new lens this week and was able to try it out yesterday! This amazing bird swooped down and caught a groundhog as I was leaving work. I decided to camp out in the parking lot for a good half hour, learning the mechanics of the big lens and capturing images of the this awesome creature! I am calling this photo "Òpalanie," which is the Delaware name for bald eagle, the tribe that was indigenous to this area centuries ago.
