Earlier this year, Chad Short with Lake Gaston Container Service purchased pink dumpsters in honor of his mother’s cancer battle, and he pledged donations to both the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association and Brunswick County Cancer Association from the proceeds of the pink dumpster rentals.

On November 1, 2023 Chad presented Rhonda Elmore of MCCA, and Michelle Clary of BCCA with those donations 💕.

Without the continued support of our local businesses what we do to help those in our communities would not be possible, thank you Chad!

October Breast Cancer Awareness month is extra special to us here at LKGCS. Chad’s mother is a Breast Cancer Survivor. We purchased these Pink Dumpsters in her honor. A donation will be made to the Cancer society later this month in her honor as well. Together we can Trash Cancer.
