Operation Frostbite
Dreams of Conquest winter wonderland bolt action tournament.
Will you be the one to help guard Santa’s route or be the one to bring him down and spoil everyone’s Christmas?
December 14th, 2024
Starts at 1pm and will be three (2 hour) rounds of fun with 30 minute rest between each round.
1st round: Top Secret (Santa’s route) – find Santa’s secret route.
• Deployment style (meeting engagement)
• Mystery engagement. No one will know what the other players list is in this round.
So please no discussing your list with other players before the round.
• Winners gets to decide which dice gets pulled first the start of round two and an
extra entry in the mystery prize drawing.
2nd round: key positions (Santa’s route) – cover Santa’s route with flak to help protect him or use the flak to bring him down.
• Deployment style (meeting engagement)
• Winners gets a +1 on first unit test coming in from reserves. (Happy with all the extra gifts from bringing him down, or from protecting his route for all the good little kids).
Also an extra entry in the mystery prize drawing.
3rd round: Demolition (destroy the other players happiness) – destroy the other players Christmas tree and presents.
• Deployment style (prepared positions)
• Winners gets one more entry into the mystery prize drawing.
Rules, costs and list limits:
• This will be based on 3rd edition, FAQ, and errata.
• Entry in the tournament is $10
• 16 player slots available.
• 1250 points max, max 20 order dice, max 4 platoons.
• Please have your list submitted by December 7th
• You will be able starting at the second round, swap out one platoon with a different
platoon. (Point and order max limits still apply) So no swapping a platoon for more
order dice and/or points.
There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes. Prize for the best Christmas themed model. Also a mystery prize for one lucky player.
