MERC Employer Profile 1: Leading up to the MERC Fair on April 21st, we will be profiling employers that will be recruiting at the event! For the first two profiles, we have Esperanza Academy from Lawrence, MA and Montgomery County Public Schools out of Rockville, Maryland. Follow along to learn more about opportunities in school districts and organizations prior to the event! 📚📝
Esperanza Academy is a tuition-free, all-girls, independent middle school (grades 5-8), built on justice and centered in joy. They celebrate, challenge, and inspire each student to embrace their brilliance. The school believes that access to quality education in fundamental fields of knowledge like math, writing, science, and the arts is crucial. The school also believes in antiracist education, countering the “systemic, institutional, and social barriers inherited by our students with opportunity, affirmation, and support”.
