Gratitude
Honestly my love for anything arts and crafts started at a young age. I always loved to create things using many different mediums such as paint, fabric, charcoal, yarn, etc., but I wanted to take time to thank a few of the individuals that taught or inspired me.
I want to thank my Grandma for taking time to teach me her original dishcloth patterns. I have used her patterns, created new ones from them, and created some amazing things with them.
I want to thank my Mom for her encouragement and patience to teach me how to sew and crochet when I was young, even though I didn’t appreciate it at the time. It is a skill I greatly appreciate now and think everyone should have.
I also want to thank my art teachers. They encouraged, taught and inspired me to create with my hands. They never let me give up and opened my mind to the endless possibilities that arts and crafts can offer.
