Sharks played another Sunday only tournament last weekend in Little Axe. Played 5 games and spent 12+ hours at the park. Defense started a little slow but it was able to get it together after losing our 3rd game 16-5. The boys brought all the intensity for games 4 & 5. Winning game 4 13-6. Then beating the team we lost to 10-0 in the championship.🏆

A cool stat from this weekend…

2 of the 5 games we had zero strikeouts!

In the spring we had 5-8 per game on average.

Choctaw Sharks went to Moore yesterday for a one day tournament. 6 games, 12 hours, 170 at bats, some tears, blood, bumps and bruises. But most of all lots of heart and grit to battle through it all. The boys came home with second, to a very respectable Rookies team. We are proud of our boys!!

CYS World Series is in the books! And thats also a wrap for summer ball and 6uCP! Man I wish we could have found more tournaments like this all season long. No hardware but lots of close games against solid teams. Very proud to see the boys play the way they did. There is a lot to be excited about moving forward.
