Between helping with family tree business with clean up around Valdosta after the storm and being a full-time student at Southern regional technical college in Moultrie. I have been super busy. I'm super stoked that I was able to find and acquire the woodworking plans for this grandfather clock from Viking clock company that went out of business in the '80s. Especially since it's the class project that I chose.

I can't wait to finally get to milling the missing pieces to this grandfather clock so I can finally install the movement and proudly show off this amazing find I procured at the bottom of a pallet stack 8 ft high while working it Habitat for Humanity. It was in the original box shipped March 3rd 1976. This build is 47 years in the making which will make this my all time favorite build.

In case anyone is wondering or has the desire to build their own clock as well you can get kits or just the woodworking plans from www.emperorclocks.com. below is an image from a vintage magazine article I found that is what my clock will look like when completed as well as a preview of what the woodworking plans look like when you order them. The others that I ordered several years ago didn't have the big detail sheet that this set comes with but I have reached out to emperor Clark company to find out whether or not it's because it's a different model or if they were accidentally not included as they should have been. They haven't gotten back with me yet but they did tell me that they use a different printing company that draws up the plans and everything that makes them for Emperor Clock Co.

The best thing about this is I have three movements, two floor models and one mantle piece. I plan on most likely selling one of the four models but definitely keeping the one I build in class for myself to pass down because how many people can say they built a grandfather clock! I may gift the mantle piece to a friend or family member or maybe do a giveaway as a marketing promotion for this page. Either way I'm super excited!

Removed 2 French doors and 2 side lights to install a sliding glass door, window and kitty door. Several other before photo files became corrupted so this is the only one I have. It was my idea to add the ship lap next to the kitty door. It was a much longer and complicated endeavor than I had planned due to shrinking the wall thickness by over 2" but it came out perfect none the less. I should've centered the window but the customer preferred this. The customer always wins.

An outdoor kitty condo for stray or feral cats. The inner biggest compartment is 15½in x 17 in. The front two legs are wrapped with sissel and jute. And off to the side is a hammock that is waterproof and floating as well. The condo sits 2 ft off the ground. And I put a set of hinges on the roof so you could lift it up and clean it out as well as a complete strip of weather stripping around the inside underneath the roof to help seal it even more so. And also the door going in is offset from the inner door to help against cold windy nights. If you're interested in one let me know it can be custom built to any way you desire.

Just because I'm tired of Justin Hiers always bragging about how good his floors look. Other folks can refinish floors too man!

Another happy customer. Gotta love when a job is literally next door! Removed old front door and replaced with a metal door and installed a storm door with a retractable screen. Next up is tearing out her French doors and side lights in back and installing a sliding glass door, 4.5ft tall window with a kitty door at the bottom. Check back soon for more!

I just recently tried my hand at painting on a canvas for my mother's birthday. What do you think?

Nothing like some beaded paneling, chair rail and fluted door casings to instantly add some eloquence to a dining area.

This took just a wee bit of effort and way more steady handedness then I could have ever imagined but I am so proud to be able to pass it down from my granny (dads mother) to my mother for mother's day. I did just today but calm down because she didn't even get back from the Bahamas until last night so it's all good but here's something that is as old as me and literally taking nothing and turning it into something. Well it's not nothing but it was in horrible shape. The paint was so old and dried it turned to chalk and took quite a bit of effort to clean it and prep it. But here you go!

Finally finished designing my official logo and business cards. I designed everything from scratch from the colors, font, slogan company name, color scheme etc. Only the background was pre-rendered.
