I'm excited to be joining the wonderful Ladies at Weld County Paranormal for the Graveyard at Dusk tour Wednesday August 28th from 7pm to 9! There is still availability so join us for this interesting and historical look at the past.

Last week a customer, a supporter, a friend, brought our researcher these wonderful reprints!!! We can never thank her enough for this wonderful glimpse into the past that we can now read over and over again!

I don't think she would like me to tag her here but she 100% has given us something we can never thank her enough for!

To help keep their children entertained, Germans from Russia would often make teething rings like the one shown in this picture. These rings were made from the trachea of a bird, often a duck or a turkey. Once the duck had been processed, the trachea would be tied in a knot and air dried for 2-3 weeks. The knot may have been placed on a leather string, or used as-is.

What a wonderful day!!!! So excited they are opened!!

We are hard at work getting ready for Monster Day Greeley 2024! Come stop by our table for kid games, prizes and enter a drawing!!

Monster Day to invade downtown Greeley next weekend “It celebrates monsters,” Edmunds said. “I was thinking young boys would be most interested. I was so wrong.”

We had an absolute blast presenting this at High Plains Library District Farr today. Thank you to everyone who came. We hope you enjoyed learning how to juggle and learning how to beat some carnival games. We also hope that you enjoyed learning about Barnum and his history in Weld County and Greeley.

First, we will be at Farr Library offering a FREE discussion for 6th to 12th graders on Barnum and his role in shaping Weld County and Greeley. There will be games and prizes for those who attend!!
