This past weekend the Smith Insurance Group player of the week honors were shared by two players, Joey Krizan and Christian Sandlin. Both boys were 5 for 8 at the plate. Joey had 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBI, and 5 R. Christian had 3 doubles, a triple, 4 RBI, and 3 runs. Great hitting boys, keep it up!

The Dbacks had a great weekend winning a divisional title in the FAAST Sports 2023 Slobberknocker Tournament! This weekend’s Smith Insurance Group player of the weekend was Sawyer Fecay. Sawyer was 3 for 6 with a double, 3 R, and 3 RBI at the plate on Sunday AND pitched the last two innings of the semifinal game and the first 3 innings of the championship game getting a save and a win! Congrats Sawyer!

The team opened up their outdoor tournament season this past weekend in Garden City at the GCYAA Kerwin Classic BASEBALL. This weekend's Smith Insurance Group player of the week was Tye Chlebek. On Saturday Tye went 3 for 6 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI at the plate and pitched 4 innings and got the win on the mound to help lead the team to a 3-0 record in pool play. Congratulations Tye and thank you Smith Insurance Group for your support!

The team opened up their tournament schedule this past weekend with an indoor tournament at Eastern Michigan. Every Monday morning following a tournament weekend we will feature a player of the weekend sponsored by our platinum sponsor Smith Insurance Group.

This weekend's player of the week was Dane Heffinger. Dane helped spark the team to a 2-0 record in pool play on Friday night by going 4 for 4 at the plate with two doubles and a home run! Congratulations to Dane, and thank you to Smith Insurance Group for your generous support!
