CR30A & US 98 UNDERPASS GROUNDBREAKING - THIS FRIDAY!
The public is invited to the official groundbreaking of the U.S. Hwy. 98 pedestrian underpass at Inlet Beach this Friday. The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will present the official groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, March 26th at 3:00pm. Local restaurants Shades Bar & Grill and The Donut Hole will provide refreshments. Attendees should gather at Shades at the corner of Scenic Hwy. 30A and U.S. Hwy. 98. PARKING - Please park at The Pointe, 30Avenue, The Donut Hole, or The Crossings. Join us at Shades after the ceremony to cheers to this amazing project!
In 2014 our East Corridor Safety & Improvement Group was started by Leigh Moore, John Freer, Bryan Corr and Brent Chandler. Together we had a vision to provide safe passage for our entire community. The groundbreaking of the UNDERPASS at the intersection of 30A and US 98 is scheduled at 3pm on Friday, March 26th. The community will be confident they can travel safely to and from the north and south sides of US 98 and CR30A. Thank you Leigh Moore, John Freer, Bryan Corr and Brent Chandler for spearheading this project and for working tirelessly over the last 7 years to make this dream a reality. A very special thank you to Scenic Walton and its Executive Director Leigh Moore along with the entire FDOT Team, Governor Desantis, former Governor Rick Scott, our local Commissioners- Tony Anderson, Senator George Gainer and Representative Brad Drake. You'll never believe how fast we sold this home...
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you felt like you had done something to finally receive all your stored up points from the universal god of karma? Or, maybe the good luck wish you made back in the 7th grade came true?
Thus far in 2020, I can confidently say I’ve had a few of those weeks. In fact, I’ve had a bit of a good luck streak.
