This right here shows the importance of fertilization when it comes to lawn care. When we started on this lawn this year, it wasn’t growing properly and there was a bad mess of dandelions everywhere. Jimmy (the homeowner) started a fertilization program with Stuart’s and the transformation has been incredible. I had a before picture, but I lost all pictures on my phone recently. So I had to start all over! FEED YOUR LAWN!
This project...no room to run any heavy equipment so all of the rock you see in the after photo? It was ALL moved by hand. On this project, we ripped out the old fabric and all weeds etc, laid brand new gorilla fabric, then moved all the rock back by hand. It was definitely tough, but it really turned the whole area around.
Also, congrats to the Kearsely family for selling this house in just 3 DAYS!! So happy for them.
A little project we did for our good friend Nash in Pleasant Grove! This project was difficult because of the small areas that needed serious attention. We are so grateful for all of the support we have had, and we look forward to continuing the trend! Thanks so much, everyone!
Story time:
I know posting this might actually hurt my business and cause people to not trust me to work for them, but I’m gonna share this anyways 😂
Today I was moving dirt at a clients house and taking it from the backyard to the trailer out front. The gate in between the front and back only allowed about 46 inches of clearance and I was using a machine that was 42 inches wide. That didn’t leave much room. Anyways, I lost sight of the front right corner of the bucket and poked a nice little hole in their storage pod!
I was pi**ed, embarrassed, and couldn’t believe I messed up like that. I never do that on jobs, so this was very rare. Luckily, I have business insurance - and they went thru the whole claim with me and the owner of the pod in about an hour. They saved me about $800-$1000, so I was grateful.
Moral of the story, don’t be one of the guys that “owns a business” but isn’t licensed or insured. That stuff protects you and the client from any huge issues. The job was invoiced at $1350, and I had to pay for all of my materials and payroll.
Just hire people that have insurance please.

A couple of lawns we did the last couple of days. Looking forward to having sprinklers turned on, and for the fertilizer to do it’s thing! We will be posting some great before and after pictures of all of our current projects.
