Margi MacMurdo's Gardening Angel Garden Design, LLC - Garden and landscape consulting, design,
I have been VERY busy- Here is a project I've been working on since last November- before, the design, and then the completion by my incredibly talented team of Filiberto and Arturo at Dream To Reality Landscape Inc -for being the hands, the heart and the backs for this project! Also thanks to Matt & Liz for the opportunity to create this for them!
Before and after again! This time in Edina- a lovely, large yard with a blank canvas for me to create a garden!
56th and Woodale - Edina- before, during and after! We transformed this blah slope into a beautiful garden with infinite curb appeal- including new driveway and patio! Thanks to a major "Dream to Reality landscape co." Assist! Circa 2018.
The old "Vicar's house" next to St.John's church on the corner of 42nd and Sheridan in Linden Hills! Before, then simple design, then the "After" result! (2017 or 18) Little known fact- both of my sons and myself were christened at this church as babies! (Not at the same time, mind you π)
Let's get this party started!
Pansies & p***y willows SHOULD be going in soon, but it feels almost impossible right now, doesn't it? Brrrr!! Call me when the week of April 10-15 to schedule your early, early, SPRING decor!

DOG FRIENDLY YARD & GARDEN! # 2
It can be done! Gravel run area, low attractive black "cast iron look" fencing that you can see through but dogs won't jump over- and a higher version of the black fence surrounding the front yard so you, the dogs and the neighbors can still interact and be friendly, while the back yard patio and yard have a high, wooden fence for privacy. Call me for a one hour consultation appointment!

DOG FRIENDLY YARD & GARDEN! 1)
What if you love your dogs, your yard, and your garden but cannot imagine how they can all go-exist beautifully? Well I can and did! We have two giant white labs and through trial and error I have worked very hard to figure out a way to manifest a gorgeous garden with plenty of room for the dogs - here are just a few examples!
Working on Matt & Liz's do-over design for their back yard! Time to make an appointment for your one hour landscape consultation!
Time to schedule your garden consultation! π§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈπ§ 612 206 7089

Garden designing in the winter! It's how I stay sane. ππ§
One of my very favorite designs and.installations - I've maintained this property through two owners, and I am re-designing the back yard this winter-something we didn't have a chance to do back on 2017!
One of the ways I do designs- all are hand drawn! Also how to draw hydrangea trees!

Watering in!
Believe it or not SPRING will soon be here! Therefore I'm going to be posting a large collection of my designs and client projects through the years
Ok say what?
Alaska snow crab season canceled as officials investigate disappearance of an estimated 1 billion crabs An estimated 1 billion crabs have mysteriously disappeared from Alaskan waters in two years, officials said.
The miracle of giving your plants enough water- folks? Your panicle hydrangeas should look like this - brightly colored and vibrant-in mid October in Zone 4, (like here in Minneapolis) - if and only if they are getting enough water! At this stage they are PERFECT for pruning the large flower heads on stems by drying and displaying them indoors!
Hello folks! Here is how your crabapple trees (this one is a "Rejoice") should look (and WILL look) on October 12th in Minneapolis IF and ONLY IF you've kept up with watering all summer and until the end of this month- unless we get a big freeze.
Fall planters are coming! Materials being staged here on our patio!
Here's the most recent installation - done last Friday! The little sketch is just for me to figure out how many of this, that, and the other thing go where. ENJOY!
Sold this design this week, I'm on the middle of estimating it right now.
These INSANE hardy hibiscus! They make the month of August very special-also other flowers!
My front yard in the morning!
Apples from our apple tree! They're Honeycrisp and they are perfect!
So here's some of MY garden!
Hosta on parade! Here are curly fries hosta looking very similar to Japanese Forest Grass, a weird situation of crabapples in the crotch of Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and the deep red stems of the flowers- late blooming in the "Rainbow's end" hosta-
Here are Matt & Liz's pots on their back patio, the hydrangeas and boxwoods in front, and roses on the hill looking the best they ever have! Why? Because Liz waters everything profusely! Funny story- Tom and Cassie, the previous owners sold the house and moved to Deephaven, and Matt and Liz moved in to their old house - from Deephaven!
Hi folks! I've been very busy working all summer- let me post a plethora of pictures! Here are some of the pots I designed and planted for Matt & Liz's place- (it used to be Tom & Cassie's!)
Before, the design, and the finished product-after!
