I made this playlist last year and I am going to do all I can to re invent this playlist as it does have 120 likes.

If you are a musician or artist in the New England area looking to get a slight stream boost, DM me a link to a song of yours of your choice and I’ll consider adding it to the playlist.

There are only a couple of rules though.

1. I can only allow one song per artist so I don’t look like I have any favoritism. If you have multiple projects it’s fine it just has to be one song from each.

2. The song has to qualify for the playlist. This is a playlist meant for rock, indie, punk, or alternative artists. If you send me a song that doesn’t qualify, I won’t add it to the playlist.

3. I have every right to deny your song for the playlist if I feel it’s not very good regardless of if it qualifies in the genre terms.

So! I am working with my first artist in an attempt to boost the said artist’s streams. My friend of Friday Life!] has his next single almost finished so I want to try this experiment.

It’s a common misconception that Spotify Pre Saves get you in a bunch of playlists. It’s not the case! They really don’t help you as much as you think they do.

It’s actually the Spotify follows that get you in Release Radar and Discover Weekly and if I can get this artist 100 additional followers with you using the link in my bio, that’s an additional 100 release radar playlists for when the single drops and at best it increases the odds their single gets in actual playlists.

After much thought, I’ve decided that I’ll no longer be active on this account. It was fun while it lasted but I no longer find it fun to just rant on Maroon 5 in every post (especially since Levine is on his way out).

I want to move on to the next chapter of my life and I don’t know what it is yet. I do know that I actually want to get into the music industry yet but I don’t know in what capacity and now that I’m vaccinated, I want to chase that dream.

I have decided to reactivate my other two accounts. My personal account will be and my music account will be . Another reason I don’t want to use this account anymore is I posted both music stuff and personal stuff and on top of deleting posts that gave me negativity, killed any momentum this account had.

Does anyone else find disturbing that when Adam Levine was on The Voice, he got paid millions of dollars to ruin people’s dreams. **khashtags **kadamlevine

Just met the voice of Mario, Charlea Martinet. Got my copy of Mario 64 singed by him.

I’ve talked about the decline of trap music this year but within a 3 month period, we saw both the release of Imagine Dragons’ Origins and the Maroon 5 halftime show? Those were the only bands on the charts doing irreparable damage to their images and Maroon 5 took a ton of backlash from their performance and Imagine Dragons we’ll probably never see again? We’re kind of seeing the same pattern with flop singles coming from trap artists and Dababy’s homophobic comments.

Dear ! You are promoting the idea of artists gaming the system by allowing Kanye West to put 26 songs on his album like he’s making Stadium Arcadium specifically to stream troll and give false data to the charts. You need to addresses this issue instead of pretending it doesn’t exist as it tells artists they have to put unnecessary filler on an album to hit number 1.

I’m not exaggerating, Tom MacDonald is the worst rapper I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I would rather hear Lil Pump and 24KGOLDN back to back a hundred times than to hear a Tom MacDonald song.

I think Cardi B expected Rumors to be WAP 2.0 and it is underperforming as today it’s number 27 on Spotify. I mean a lyric like “swipe your nose like a credit card” is something you REALLY can’t write more than once.

Honestly! The thing that surprises me the most about this is that Levine even bothered to discuss this knowing how he’s demonstrated he hates anything rock music and has gone out of his way to say that “ROCK IS DEAD AND NEVER COMING BACK.”

We need to keep him in because if he gets recalled, the governors mansion will not only go to the GOP but it will most likely go to someone who doesn’t believe in climate change and wants to get rid of vaccination mandates in that state putting residents at further risk of getting sick and dying.

This is going to be a long rant but people need to come to terms with the fact that we are NEVER going to reach herd immunity against COVID so we need to scrap the mindset of “we can’t go back to normal until we reach herd immunity.” COVID is NEVER going to go away and I don’t think we should be doing the lockdown and restrictions charade forever all because people are listening to celebrities instead of medical experts and not getting vaccinated at the vaccinated people’s expense. If you are one of my followers that isn’t vaccinated, GET A SHOT! There is no excuse why you shouldn’t. “But it’s not safe.” The CDC and every other health organization has deemed the vaccine to be safe and effective at preventing death. “But the side effects!” Which is more important, getting a headache or your life? “But the vaccine doesn’t work.” Again people like Tucker Carlson are not doctors.

This is the final bit of testing in my quest to be able to get an artist in the charts. I have uploaded a demo of a song I wrote during the pandemic to Bandcamp. It would mean the world to me even if you stream the song on bandcamp (link is in bio) and spread the word to others.

I think people I know expected the Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber to debut at number 1, it didn’t! A new BTS single debuted at number 1 instead. Also Stay only debuted at number 3 so even without BTS it still wouldn’t have been number 1 so they weren’t blocked from anything.

As you all know, I am a vocal critic of the way Billboard still puts a lot of weight on radio play and sometimes gives completely false data to the charts. As of this week, Billbaord has FINALLY put less weight on radio airplay going from ending a tracking week on Sunday to ending on Thursday. That’s cutting the amount of tracking days by 3 and will do damage to artists who rely on getting a s**t ton of airplay (Bieber and Adam Levine are examples). Obviously I’m for Billbaord completely cutting radio play from it’s methodology but this is a step in the right direction, to give the power of who decides hits to the consumer and not the top executives.

Today is the 25th anniversary of being released. This game has meant a lot to me ever since I first played it when I was barely even 2 years old. This is the same cartridge I grew up with and hope to have this for the rest of my life. Happy to one of my favorite games and the game that got me into gaming.

Spent the day in Quincy

Wow! Jordi by Maroon 5 BOMBED! Selling 35k units in the first week. There is NO way to spin that into a positive (Red Pill Blues sold 122k units in the first week). This album failed on every possible level. They wanted to reinvent the band and continue their staying power and all it’s basically done is end the Maroon 5 era of pop music. If they have a hit again it’ll be up there with Santana and Cher as one of the most out of nowhere comebacks.

I’m gonna be explicit with this. Jordi is Maoron 5’s WORST album. Worse than V and Red Pill Blues combined and multiplied by a hundred. I listened to this album and could barely make it through.

This album has even more features than Red Pill Blues did because Levine knows he is no longer relevant to a younger audience. My biggest issue with Red Pill Blues was that they went full on R&B trap and this is even more blatantly trend hopping than that album was. Almost all the songs are backed with a s**tty trap beat and do not sound like an actual band recorded this at all.

Apparently I’m not the only one as this album is underperforming, being critically panned, and on top of that, other people I know that listened to this album (even ones that defend Maroon 5) say it’s bad. I think this will do a lot of damage to Maroon 5 the same way Imagine Dragons did 3 years ago with Origins.

Jordi is NOT popular with the fans. I think this album has made Levine the one thing he has avoided being his whole career, irrelevant.
