Only one candidate garnered their support. I am proud
to be that one candidate. Ed Tobias, Candidate for
Oakdale Irrigation District Director, Division One.
I am the only Candidate running for OID Director endorsed by the Stanislaus County Fam Bureau. Who you choose for an OID Director is a critical decision on how to best manage Oakdale's water resources. EXPERIENCE IS EVERYTHING. I retired from MID (Modesto Irrigation Distrct) with 28 years of experience working as an Irrigation Manager handling water delivery, maintenance and pumping and monitoring groundwater levels. You learn a lot with 28 years of doing this work every week. I have ideas on how OID can work with the City to protect Oakdale's drinking water which comes from groundwater. And I am prepared to help fight the State's Water Grab. I know what needs to be done for the New SGMA regulations from the state now imposed on our water. I would appreciate your vote. I live here with my family in Oakdale so Oakdale's water is personally important to me.

Simply put we have two sources of water: surface water (in our canals and rivers) and groundwater (which we pump to use in our homes and industries) I have 28 years of experience working in the irrigation industry and good ideas on how we can can use OID surface water to protect our precious Oakdale drinking water with zero increase in the costs of water to our homes and industries in Oakdale.
