I've been advertising on Facebook recently looking for new customers. I get a lot of people asking my price and not scheduling. Mobile groomers charge more, because of travel time and hand drying each dog ,we do a lot less than a brick and mortar. But you get the convenience of having the service performed right at your home and your dog isn't sitting in a cage for several hours, so it is a lot less stressful for them. Some major brick and mortar salons charge extra for express service. I'm well aware of what both salons and other mobile groomers charge and I can say my prices are very fair. I went to grooming school in Manhattan even though school is not required in this profession. I have over 20 years experience. I have always limited what I schedule so your pet gets the best possible experience. I have tried every brand of professional pet products over the years and only use ones that deliver results...I'm a bit frustrated that people are acting like my prices are too high...I know times are tough..the cost of living is ridiculous..for me as well...I can't charge brick and mortar prices though...
