This is a conservation farm and you’ll learn how they care for and preserve the endangered sea turtles. You can hold and have some photos taken with the smaller turtles and will observe them from hatchlings to full grown. You’ll have about 30 minutes at the turtle center. Your next stop is "Hell". This little spot on the island gets its name due to the jagged formations are created when a particular type of algae attacks the limestone. There is a viewing platform for photos but you can’t walk on the limestone. Your next stop will be a visit to the Camana Bay observation tower where you can have amazing 360-degree views of the island and Caribbean Sea. The observation tower is 75 ft tall and you can climb the double-helix mosaic-tiled staircase, rest on the benches provided or take the elevator. Be sure to bring your camera for some spectacular photos overlooking the island! Your last stop is at the Tortuga Rum Cake Factory. This operation was started in 1984 and has gained international recognition. Here you can sample and purchase some locally produced rum and rum cakes. When your excursion time comes to an end, you’ll be taken back to your Grand Cayman port in time to set sail.
