Let’s start by defining what exactly is H**p Biomass? By definition Biomass is the total mass of an organism or organisms in a given area of volume. So in dealing with H**p (Cannabis), we are talking about the stalks, stems, leafs, roots, seeds, and flowering buds. Depending on what exactly your intentions might be, any one or all of these components of h**p biomass might be what you're looking for. Today I would like to focus on the flowering bud of the female h**p plant. This is where you'll find the highest concentration of cannabinoids (the active chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant). While nobody knows for certain how many, science has identified and named 113 different Cannabinoids. Two of which seem to be stealing the spotlight. We have all heard of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which was brought into popularity for its psychoactive properties. Also, and as of late the Cannabinoid CBD (Cannabidol) which while having no psychoactive properties, supplements a plethora of medicinal uses. With all modern science has to offer and putting that practice into the cannabis industry we have been able to isolate certain genetics and crossbreed this miraculous plant to produce high levels of CBD. Think of the last time you were standing in line at the grocery store and saw Time magazine with a huge Cannabis leaf on the cover or maybe you were surfing the internet and and an article comes into view labeling some of the many benefits of h**p and its compounds. Then you might have had a friend with an old sports injury or a sister in law raving about how CBD has helped relieve her anxiety 10 fold. The question now you ask is how does this actually work and why are we just now beginning to discover this. These are important questions and we at H**pTech Farms have the answers. Stay tuned to our blog for more information about this incredible plant and the industry it has created.
