Flagstaff BJJ
A training group ran by Aaron Tabor and we are an affiliate of Cecil Burch, a 3rd degree Gracie Humaita Black Belt.
First and foremost, we operate like a club, not a commercial business specializing in Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Cecil, got the monthly calendar made following the suggestions. Had three new students tonight we worked leg hook takedown and trap and roll. Still working on their white gis. Overall huge progress!
It’s been over 4 years since my wife and I got to train together. Today was the first in a long time!!! Great easy flow roll.
Cecil would be disappointed, not a single white Gi in sight…… smh
Another good class tonight
Great white belt class tonight!!
Look who made a surprise visit last night. Always great having Professor Cecil B. up in Flagstaff.
Congrats to M and Louis on their blue belt promotions!
Okay I have been quite about this, but we are moving (not leaving Flagstaff). We will have a bigger training space but we are closed until the week of July 11th. More information soon.
Excited as we have a new crop of interested folks!!!!
Another great day with professor Cecil Birch!! Taught some useful transitions to getting back to your feet. Along with many other details. Super grateful for him and the group we get to train with.
Another night, another round. Come get some and have a great time learning how to protect yourself!
Worked the self defense curriculum tonight, then a little rolling. Call if you want to get in on the action!
It doesn’t matter if you know the language, jiu-Jitsu speaks no bounds. A smile, fist bump and the simple tap is all you need. This was an amazing experience, a wonderful group and some new found friends. Plus I got to show a few of them the “Cecil Burch” armbar and triangle from closed guard since coincidentally those were the moves of the night.
Half guard to back work tonight.
Good drilling and rounds
Great class tonight!
