Skills and Qualifications:

Must be experienced in clearing, grading, and sand mining operartions
Fine grading experience is preferred.
5 years experience operating Excavators, Dozers, Skid Steers,Wheel Loaders and other heavy equipment.
Must be able to read plans and execute work.

We are looking for an organized individual to help manage the office and complete administrative tasks for a successful light-civil contracting company. The Administrator will be a key player in ensuring the smooth transfer of information from field to office, and vice versa. The Administrator should have experience with payroll, reporting, invoicing, and basic accounting skills in order to use our construction software efficiently. Applicant must be experienced in Excel, Quickbooks, and Apple Computers.

Keeping Subcontractor and Employee records on file and up to date

Setup new job folders and manage inquiries from prospective clients
Assit with various tasks and initiatives around the office

Role Description:

We are searching for a reliable, deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee construction crews at our company. The Construction Superintendent's responsibilities include recruiting new crew members, monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement, as well as educating all staff on safety. You should ensure that projects stay within budget and that required materials and equipment are available.
To be successful as a Construction Superintendent, you should demonstrate a sound understanding of safety regulations and building codes and be able to transfer this knowledge to your team. Top-notch Construction Superintendents are leaders who can identify problems and find feasible solutions to them.

Responsibilities:
Drive the onsite construction efforts of subcontractors and our own crew
Coordinate Company’s Crew and Subcontractors to complete work as required
Ensure that we maintain a clean, safe, and orderly job site
Bring projects in on time and on budget with the help of the project manager and president
Review project specifications and help source materials for completion
Be attentive to client’s concerns
Manage relationships and promote a positive project morale
Provide leadership and establish & maintain a harmonious working environment
Identify and analyze problems using reasoning and RFI’s to arrive at conclusions
Inspect the activities of the Subcontractors and materials of Suppliers
Bring possible code violations & impractical details to the attention of Owner
Examine the contract drawings and specifications in advance of work being completed
Prepare scheduled and necessary updates of construction activities and analysis of manpower and equipment required
Report regularly to the owner to keep them constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules
Fill out accurate daily work records at the end of every day
Ensure that the schedules are being followed
Help manage the trucking
Cooperate with, and direct when necessary, the activities of the inspection agencies
Assist Owner in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule
Ensure all required permits or licenses have been obtained, and are present on site

Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant or similar experience.
3+ years in the light/heavy civil construction industry as a foreman or Superintendent.
Familiarity with architectural plans and construction documents
Familiarity with local building codes
Experience with Excavation and Grading
Knowledge of the details of multiple trades.
Valid Driver's license
OSHA 30 Certification
Knowledge of Construction Software
Proficiancy in English
