So I was going to attempt a video on the Charcoal mask tonight but some decided they wanted to be in the way. He is very disruptive and loves attention. He climbed up on my lap several times during my masking time.

Instead I have some pictures with this amazing product and a how to.

The Charcoal Mask is perfect this time of year as it opens up your pores and pulls out the yuck and leaves your face feeling refreshed.

Here are the steps I take before masking....
⚜ Wash your face - this insures the mask works better. I used the MK Naturally Derived cleanser.
⚜Apply Mask with either clean fingers or a brush. I used the MK mask application brush, but a liquid foundation brush works as well. The masking brush helped the charcoal mask apply smoother and I used less product. If you use your fingers, I suggest using only two (it can be really messy) and I always have to use more product.
⚜Leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes. It will go from a dark gray to a lighter gray as it drys. As the mask drys your face will feel tighter.
⚜Wipe off with a damp warm washcloth or hop in the shower.
⚜Apply your moisturizer. Always make sure you do your moisturizing step to make sure your skin doesn't dry out.
⚜Wash your brush with warm soapy water and let dry on a paper towel. Make sure to just wash the head of the brush. Do not soak the brush, instead use your fingers.

I absolutely love my MK charcoal mask. I have always suffered from oily skin and it always gets worse this time of year. The transition from Fall to Winter and Winter to Spring is horrible for alot if people. One minute its 55 degrees out and the next its sleeting/snowing.
