I couldn’t find a plastic free product to microwave vegetables so I thought I would create one. All the finishing steps are done in the good old USA.

The more expensive borosilicate glass has 1/3 the thermal expansion coefficient of soda lime glass and is more resistant to thermal shock. So it is less likely to break when you pull it from the hot oven and put it on a cool stone counter top. Because of its thermal properties borosilicate glass cookware is more desirable than soda lime glass.
