My name is Karen Wrenne, I am a recently retired RN, having worked critical care for close to 30 years, then Cardiac Rehab. I have always been a crafter, my main loves are wire wrapping and beaded jewelry, and papercrafts/cardmaking. This site is dedicated to the wire wrap and beading aspect of my crafty self. I am not in this to make my fortune, simply to feed my habit. I keep my prices low so that anyone can have a piece of handmade art.

Read a post from a crafter that makes beautiful beaded and stone suncatchers. She is having trouble selling them at $10 each. They are beautiful, at that price she is actually profiting nothing! She has people complaining about her prices. I feel her pain. When you are selling next to a person selling "made in China" or other mass produced items, most people will spend their money where it goes the farthest. Why spend $15 for a pair of handmade earrings when you can get 3 pairs of knockoffs for the same price. No, they won't be unique, but quantity over quality, right?
