RE:center stepping up to fill a need 13/11/2021

I am so happy the coordination of the Navapache Feeding Collaborative was such a valuable collaboration during the height of the pandemic. REcenter leadership Pam, Devin and Danielle played a critical role in our ability to support feeding agencies throughout Navajo and Apache Counties. The REcenter is the resource center for many services, programs and resources for residents in the White Mountains. I’ve worked on some projects on behalf of the REcenter for over the last year and I am truly appreciative of the leadership and their focus to fill gaps in our community. So thankful to them for picking up the reins and continuing such a critical resource, the Love Kitchen. Please do what you can to support their work, they are such a valuable community resource center.

PRAYER FOR VETERANS

Dear Lord,

Today we honor our veterans, worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country.
We pray that you will bless them for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our country’s heritage, for all of us.
Bless them abundantly for the hardships they faced, for the sacrifices they made for their many different contributions to America’s victories over tyranny and oppression.
We respect them, we thank them, we honor them, we are proud of them. We pray that you will watch over these special people and bless them with peace and happiness.

Nevaeh is in the end stage stage of renal failure, organized by Sean Stephens 12/09/2021

Often I think of the Rawlings children and how we were all powerless to save them. It is a heartache that we felt as a community that united us all. Today in our community we have Nevaeh who is fighting for her life due to kidney failure. Her family needs financial help to cover the long term medical expenses until they can hopefully find a kidney match. Here we are not powerless as a community. Here donations as little as $5 to $25 can help save this child's life. Please, give what you can, in memory of those three beautiful children we could not save.

Also visit the Pinetop Fire Department page. There is another little girl who is a local with an inoperable brain tumor who's family also needs your help!
