Yo, y’all check this out. This is a good thing for Broken Chains i’ve been paying my dues for over seven years now how can I believe in something and be a part of something you’re not willing to give just $10 a month to this ministry….

This letter was emailed out today to all of our members listed in our database. Our database is not perfect by a long shot so we will also post this public letter here on the FB page...

Greetings Broken Chains JC brothers and sisters,

Hoping this letter finds you filled with hope. So much so that you have to give some of it away!

I wanted to reach out and tell you personally about some of the changes that have recently taken place in this fellowship that we all love.

We have opened our arms and doors to others who have found hope and healing in Jesus Christ through all Christ-Centered recovery programs. This doesn’t mean that we don’t love and promote Celebrate Recovery. It just means that we understand there are other avenues to the hope and healing available in Jesus. The program/ministry you should promote is the one that led you to freedom. All the while being open to learning from each other. I’ve come to realize that I can use as much help as I can get and that may be through multiple avenues.

Also, we have decided to institute a program of mandatory, monthly dues. The amount is $10.00 per month to be a member in good standing. This can be paid monthly or yearly, both options are available on the website. We would also encourage you to give over and above the required amount. Jesus says in Matthew 6:21, “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” He also goes on to say, “give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)

If you have a question as far as where the money goes, please feel free to reach out to Jamie Rich for a copy of our financial information. No hidden agendas or money are being used inappropriately. We hope to become a financially strong organization which will give us more opportunities for benevolence funding, BCJC rallies/Conferences, staffing, etc.

In fact, we have developed the IPTAM Campaign (I Pay Ten A Month).
For all who sign up to pay their dues ($10 a month or more), either monthly or yearly, you will receive an IPTAM patch to proudly show you are supporting this movement financially. You can click on the link above to pay dues. You will also receive an updated BCJC Covenant and Code of Conduct. If you are already contributing $10 or more monthly you also will receive a patch.

I’m so excited about what God has waiting for all of us. With some of the changes come challenges. But also new opportunities to catapult us into the future that God has waiting for us. God is moving and we are moving with Him.

Thank you for your trust, encouragement, and support as we continue to seek Him and His will for Broken Chains JC. It’s all about Jesus's family, let’s keep our eyes on the prize!
