It’s the ten year anniversary of the Bambi collab with @flechr ! Way back in 2012 Norwegian Wood was a clothing line (that’s how it all started!), and I created a fabric based on a vintage paint-by-number (I have a giant collection of them!) I used this fabric throughout the collection, and approached @kimberly_flechr_not_so_private to make some bags to be part of the collection, and this beauty was born! While cleaning up her studio a few months ago Kimberly found a bit more of this fabric, enough to make a very limited run of these bags! Have you ever used resin incense before? It’s a multi step process, starting with lighting a charcoal puck, then carefully placing the resin on it, letting it melt and releasing the scent. I love how the whole process slows me down. Watching the resin melt, blending multiple resins and appreciating the scent in a different way. We have a few different resin burners in the shop right now, and I’m dreaming up some new versions for this fall!

This weekend I built a pillow display wall using six vintage shaker chairs. The walls on this side of the space are made of very old, very crumbly cinder block, so I added wood panels that hang down from the rafters to safely support the chairs, which I attached with custom leather straps. #losangelesshowroom #handmadeinlosangeles #handcraftedhome
Found these interesting handmade “bedside tables” on FB marketplace and decided to give them a little extra attitude by gluing on some fun wood shapes I’ve been collecting, then giving the whole thing a fresh coat of white paint. The wind blew a big branch down behind the studio so I thought I’d give it a temporary home (yes, I wish this vase was 3x as big) and do a mini shoot with this vintage chair I had upholstered in my own textile design.
