It's a week past Thanksgiving and I am still focused on and filled with gratitude. The Big 3 for me - Family, Work and Music.
Family - I couldn't have asked for a better tribe to be in. Through good times and crap times. I love you Rachel, Max and Eli! And of course my furry and scaly family - Luna, Solomon, Mable, Simba and Shoto.
Work - Some how I landed the perfect job for me at 317 Main St Community Music Center. I get to teach drums, run a soundboard for live bands, record and mix people's music, manage and plan events! And most importantly I work with and meet a lot of talented and amazing people.
Music -I have been extremely blessed and honored to work with companies where I speak with the people that actually make the products or are a direct link to them. This is a rarity. Thank you Mehteran Cymbals. Richard LeRoy (RL Drums), Los Cabos Drumsticks, Attack Drumheads,Creative Percussion, Stack Ring Percussion. Drumgees, Centent cymbals, Ahead Drumsticks & Accessories (Armor Cases), Dixon Drums (Hardware), TnR Products, No Nuts Percussion, Baldman Percussion, Roots EQ, Reverie Drum Co., Upcycled Percussion
Bands - My musical "bosses", collaborators and some of my closest of friends - Mike Maurice, Jason Ward, Eric Napier.
Session work - Todd, Jason and Alice are awesome folks and amazingly skilled at their craft. Acadia Recording Company has the some of the best people I have worked with in the recording world.
My teachers - How amazing is it that I live in a world where I can meet, learn from and talk with incredible drummers! Scott Pellegrom, Richard Spaven. This goes out to you. Whether watching you, taking a lesson or chatting, I become a better drummer every day.
More to come...

I have to give a shout out to some awesome companies and their products on this vid.
The mini mini junk hat is just awesome. I didn’t know what to expect after using the regular 1.0 and big mini, which I loved. This is perfect for what I need to get the junk hat sound in a tight space.
The 2 sided dampener is awesome for getting a little of a raw electronic sound on my snare. I also used a magnetic chain they CP made for me as well. I have the damper “bumps down” as it adds some nice metal sustain to every hit.
Mics wise, I am in love with mics for all over heads, snares and toms. Amazing hand made mics at a very very fair price. I am using reds for over heads and blues on the snare.
For the kick, I am using a Sub Kick by itself and it sounds perfect on my little kicks.
And I haven’t given these guys nearly enough love. I use in ears. They sound amazing and the folks there are amazing to work with.
My sticks are by . They feel really nice and have great balance! These are 7As.
Check them all out and hit them up!

1 more week!
A little story…Back about two years ago I met amazing people, drummers and learned about awesome sticks at . I met an awesome drummer and now good friend, Chris who as it turns our lives only 20 minutes away from me. The irony is that Collision is in the UK. So I met Chris through a company across the pond and who basically is my neighbor. Anyway, Chris is an amazing drum builder and he has been kind enough to show me the ropes and guided me through making my own snare drum. This is the result, a 10x4 snare. The first of many! (Hopefully) We decided to put top heads on both sides so that it could be reversible for more sound options. I can’t wait to demo this little guy for you.
Thank you, Chris! Please check out his drums at . He also goes live on Instagram weekly on Wednesday’s at 3 EST if you want to know more!
New loop!
Trying out a two piccolo snare set up. Lots of cool sounds from Creative Percussion, Stack Ring Percussion, Upcycled percussion, Dixon and Brass Lasagna!
Thank you for watching!
New loop with not 1 but 2 spiral cymbals. One 10”ish stacked on the 20” crash/ride, one 18” as a full on crash.
Thanks for watching!
