Several hundred bales of grass hay available, 4×5 net wrap, extremely tight. Bales weigh a consistent 1050-1070lb. Most of my fields are just good upland grasses (alfalfa, brome, Timothy, orchardgrass and junegrass) with probably 20% of some sort of legume (usually clover, but some alfalfa and trefoil in the mix) $60 per bale, delivery available.

My pretty friend, from made a post the other day about “finding magic in the mundane…” Yeah, I’m NOT good at that. 😅
I love reading everyone’s posts describing the sweet simplicity of life on their farm. Finding joy in the small things, savoring little moments. I admire it so much because I wish I could do the same! Slowing down and appreciating routine and simplicity just doesn’t come naturally to me…
Mitchell has been in the hay field all week, which changes things up in his routine, but makes mine more “mundane.” 😅 I’m always looking for the next thing, planning every second of the week, making sure there isn’t downtime. So coming back to y’all’s posts about appreciating the small things brings me back and helps me to slow down - to be content and realize how blessed we actually are.
So, THANK YOU. Thank you all for your positivity and words of appreciation and pride for the farm life we live. There is magic in the mundane. 🙂🤍
