Hey Denver Friends! I am going to be at the Whittier Farmers Market tomorrow from 9-1, right in front of Scoops! I will have all our new styles and would love to see you all!
Sometimes you can feel like a badass while wearing your white Coban earrings that look like mini RBG collars. Many of you might not know but I was laid off last month and finally had some movement in my next opportunity. These earrings were the perfect accessory for my phone screen.
My friend, Anna Veluz-Wilkins said it best and I think her words are not only beautiful but are truly reflect the magic of Threads.....
👑 Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a passionate and tireless champion of equality and justice whose legacy was to "make life a little better for people less fortunate than me." She epitomized her own words to "live not just for oneself but for one's community" -women and communities everywhere are better for her work.
I've been trying to channel her strength and honor her groundbreaking legacy - I wear these Threads Coban earrings in white from our Dare collection that reminds me of her famous collars and all of the doors she has opened for so very many. I can think of no better example of the Threads value "Dare to See New Possibilities" than RBG. I believe that she would wholeheartedly support the mission and work we do at Threads Worldwide to create sustainable economic opportunities for women around the world.
Alright friends.. I need a distraction! It's offically Auttum... which flavor are you feeling??
I took a short hiatus from posting but after the passing of Justice RBG I feel motivated to continue to engage you all in this amazing community of women. Threads Worldwide was created for women to support women both locally and around the world, and I can't wait to share the amazing work that is happening right now :) In the wise words of Ruth Boder Ginsburg, " Fight for things you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you."

In three days we are hosting our Fall Launch Party. Pretty excited to share our new styles with everyone! Our Launch Party is this Monday at 7pm MST, I'll do a watch party on this page so you can all get a glimpse of the items and learn more about our partnership with the artisans that create them!
Meet Marta! This is exactly why I joined this organization!
It is generally not culturally encouraged for women to be financially independent, so each woman has fought an uphill battle to prove she can work without compromising caring for her family.
With their income, artisans have made their homes safer with improvements like smokeless stoves and solar light bulbs. They’ve empowered their entire communities to thrive by investing in organic farming, water filtration, and business development. Many are now able to send their children to school and return to school themselves.
Thanks for joining my Threads Worldwide group! As many of you know I joined this amazing organization that sells fair trade jewelry created by artisans in countries around the world and the fair wage they receive improves their lives drastically. We are releasing our new fall jewelry line this Monday and I can't wait to share the pieces with you! I will be sharing pictures of the pieces and also introduce you to the women who make them.
