Our day of the girl celebration event will be this monday, october 11th at 6 pm in the cape florida ballroom!

Firstly, thank you to all previous board officers for their excellent work towards Girl Up Orlando. 🤩

Together, this year, we hope to spread awareness and advocate for hard to reach adolescent girls around the world! we believe that it’s important and necessary to empower women and young girls to truly embrace themselves from within! by focusing on girl up orlando's slogan of "fighting for equality, not superiority,” we want to educate both men and women on how we can further gender equality in future generations! 🌟

We are really lucky to be her official sponsors this year and we urge you all to donate any amount (if you can) in order to help her get basic necessities and education for the year! We highly encourage you to share this fundraiser with your friends, family, and anyone that may be interested in helping out! We are taking donations through our Venmo is -Orlando. I’ll attach a nice template that sums up what we are doing for her. We are counting on YOU to help us reach this goal by the end of this event, (we can do it!)

we are officially launching our “11 days of the girl” campaign today!! traditions are so important for us here at girl up orlando so we decided we want to start one of our own!

every year from october 1-11 we will be hosting a series of events that range from workshops, discussions and social media campaigns❗️
