Proper planning prevents p**s poor performance. Airman assigned to the 39th Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight set up our RADeCO H-809VII high volume air sampler used to detect the presence of toxic chemical warfare agents. This routine training exercise is used to optimize readiness from a chemical warfare attack.
We asked a customer how they wanted their new robot to look. We received a picture of a blue Ford Mustang Cobra with white stripes. I think we did pretty good. Cobra would make an awesome name! Enjoy your new robot.
Wrapping up some orders this week for a few Bomb squads. Which is better, OD Green or Desert Tan?
Some attendees from our nuclear training event toured the Boston Dynamics headquarters today. Special thanks to Brad Bonn for the tour and hospitality. The utilities got a deep dive with our team over the three day event to master autowalk missions, learn Orbit, manual manipulation, troubleshooting, pro tips and benchmarked with other sites. We are targeting another Q3 nuclear training event. Contact us for details!
Had a great visit to today. They are doing great work there and what an awesome group of students. We love doing to STEM events and getting our youth excited about their future. Special thanks to Jim Dolan for setting it up.

Most people today are thinking about the eclipse. At RADeCO we are thinking about our friend and long term employee Jim. Jim was a navy reactor operator and plank owner who started with RADeCO during the transition from SAIC to the Lovendale family. In the early days it was just Jim and small team in a broken down mill assembling air monitoring equipment. Jim was pivotal in growing the business over his 17 years with the company. In 2016 Jim was diagnosed with cancer. After his operation and treatment, Jim wanted to see the 2017 eclipse in the path of totality in Tennessee. Jim loaded up his car with sophisticated camera equipment in CT to make his way to TN. Unfortunately Jim never made it and was found deceased in a parking lot of a pulmonary embolism just a day before the eclipse. We love you and miss you.

The last robot of the year (maybe...) is shipping today. Seven more out the door in just a few short weeks. This one is shipping in traditional yellow with an IR camera, radio kit, and CBRN package for rad/nuke, CWAs and a 5-gas detector.
As a long time Patriots fan, this one was tough to do... But the customer is always right. Ask and you shall receive. This custom Spot package will be shipping to a nuclear utility for inspection work in radiation areas to capture dose rates and search for steam leaks. Topped off with a KC Chiefs wrap job.
"Clark I'm gonna get you something real nice"
Although not as sexy and cool as robots, Over the past 60 years, RADeCO has been the world's largest manufacturer of radioiodine sample media. We have produced millions and millions of these filters for effluent sampling at nuclear power stations and radiopharmaceutical laboratories.
Three more robots delivered last week. One to a nuclear utility and two to a government agency. The two gov robots were outfitted with IR, docking stations and CBRN software for rad/nuke, CWAs, and a five gas sensor package. They will be deployed for EOD and CBRN threats.
On its way to its new home with Dominion Energy.
Shipping to our boys in blue. Another LEO order out the door.
