Today is errand day; hood maintenance/inspection, groceries, propane, tire check, .... and so on

Friday - Sunday I will be back at Swan Island Dahlias.
Following Friday (23) Swan Island Saturday (24) Colemans.

Just me, hanging out along a road outside of Colton. Making burgers for a birthday.
Did you know you can hire me to come out to events at your home or for your business?
Need at least two weeks notice. I recommend scheduling much earlier though. I am already booking for next summer.

Plumbing problem taken care of. And it's even working🎉🎉. All with only one trip to town for parts.

By the time it was done it was too late to drag the trailer over and set up. Looks like the rest of the day will be for finishing up my warehouse trailer so it can get inspected. Might even be brave and tackle an irrigation project.

Tomorrow mornings fun? Plumbing repair. What was once a small leak is now a big leak. I need to spend tomorrow fixing said leak. If I get it done quick enough I'll try to come down and open up for lunch.

Note: I will NOT be at Union Mills on Friday. They are having paving work done and need the space I would take up.

A nice spot to relax for a minute before I head home and get ready to load up and head out in the morning.
Today was brutal. Not as hot, but busy and I was flying solo. Did the majority of an overall good day in about 2 hours. But at the end of being slammed an iced coffee shows up in my window from Rockin' Latte and at the end of the day as I was finishing the last burger there was a cool beverage from the Tap Trailer that I got to enjoy as I sat and watched the koi while making lists.
I enjoy these festivals where the vendors all trade back and forth and look out for each other.
Otherwise I'd be watching koi and drinking a warm bottle of water. 😆

It's a hot one today. Even with the a/c going and fryer off it's pushing 100° in here.
Just a reminder; I am at Swan Island Dahlias until Sunday.
Tuesday I'll be at Clark Park for National Night Out 5-7:30.
Next Friday and Saturday (9th & 10th) I'm back at Union Mills Feed.

A bit hazy today but still a nice view out here at Colemans.
Open for sure until 3:00. After that it all depends on how fast cutting gets done.

I'll be here all day for their one year anniversary.
Since we're finally out of the 90's I'll even make a pot of clam chowder.

Thanks to everyone who came out and saw me at the car show today. You kept us hopping. Came this close 🤏 to selling out of a few things. Got The Shack tucked away in it's parking spot and fans going to finish cooling it down. It was dang hot in there.
Back at Union Mills on Friday and then Hubbard Hop Festival all day Saturday.
For those of you who asked today. I'll do peanut butter and jelly burgers on Friday. Things get a bit insane to do them at a bigger event.

Open today until 5:00 at Union Mills Feed. Need to leave early and rescue a great grandma & Pappa from the clutches of my sweet, pretty much perfect 🙄 grandchildren😬.

Got plans for tomorrow? Head down to Clark Park for breakfast with the VFW, then check out the cars. After that swing by and grab lunch. I won't be open for breakfast but I will be eating breakfast there before I get started. Come join me.
Opening for lunch about 10:00...ish.

Calling it a day today. Just too hot in the trailer.
Tomorrow I will not be opening at Union Mills. Think it's a good day to stay on the hill where it's only supposed to be 92°.
Next week I'll be at Union Mills on Friday and the Car Show at Clark Park on Saturday.

Not sure when I'll be done tonight so planning on opening for lunch about noon at Union Mills Feed.
It will be too hot to run the fryer without a/c, no chicken strips or fries. I'll have burgers, sandwiches, salads, chips and lots of cold beverages. And let's not forget the ice cream sandwiches.

Time for a break. Got one of my favorite beverages from Rockin Latte and enjoying the shade for a few.
Up tonight....A new loaded fry; Buffalo Chicken. chicken tossed in buffalo sauce on my steak fries with grated cheese, ranch, blue cheese and a drizzle of buffalo sauce.

Time for my summer PSA. With the hot weather that is forecast there will be changes to what I'm doing.
At temps getting over 90° the fryer will likely get shut off. Especially if I'm running a generator. It's having to work too hard to keep fridges cold.
At a 100° prediction I'm probably not going to open. If I do it will be cold sandwiches beverages and salads. No grill, no fryer.
I'll update as we get closer.
Hopefully this forecast will change.

Note for today:
My fryer is down for the day. No fries or chicken strips. I'm hoping I'll be able to get it up and running soon.
Open at Union Mills Feed until 5pm.

Sometimes you just know things.
Like I know that by the time I drop off the trailer and get home it's going to be midnight. I also know that means by the time I get up, put in a supply order get fuel, gas and ice it will be past the time for breakfast. So I'm shooting for a lunch opening at 11:00 at Union Mills Feed.
But it was a good night tonight. Thank you to Molalla Baseball for having us out for your game.

Here's my schedule for the next couple of weeks. Closing early on Friday the 28th so I can move into town for the Alumni Baseball Game.

Opinion please... Kicking around the idea of being open for breakfast on the 4th at the Nazarene Church Event. Any interest? Menu would be my normal Biscuits & Gravy, Breakfast Burritos, and Breakfast Sandwiches. Want to make sure it would be worth me pulling a long almost 20-hour day; cause in all honesty they kick my butt anymore. Must be getting old. :)

Coming this week. Friday 8-6 at Union Mills Feed. Saturday I will be at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm for Relay for Life

Time for the extended Summer Schedule July - September.
If I'm not scheduled at an event on Friday and Saturday I will be at Union Mills Feed. Friday hours are 8-6 and Saturday hours are 8-5. I will also be at Union Mills on Sunday Sept. 15th

Its a good thing chowder isn't dependent upon my clamming ability.
Wasn't doing too bad today; then the cheerful girl from fish and game stopped to let me know that beaches got closed last night. Bummed but was kinda expecting it.
Also explains why it was so empty out here this morning.
Question now, do I stay or do I go back to the farm and get sone work done.
Either way The Feedshack is closed this weekend.
