For a project that is no longer active, this is pretty neat to see. This EP has been out for a minute, and obviously hasn’t been getting any promo whatsoever for over a year.

I put this all together at a really pivotal point in my life and if it wasn’t for this EP I’m not sure I’d be where I’m at right now. It was a really tough decision to put NSD on hiatus. But, it’s so hard when you’re a normal person working full time to coordinate a band. The cost of equipment, recording, mixing, mastering, traveling, promotion… I could go on. But, all that aside going back and listening to this always gets me in my feels. Hoping that someday I can get this thing going again, but for now I’m fully focused on my job and my hip hop project. If anyone who follows this page still jams the music, thank you so much.

But, I really am hoping to release some new NSD in the future. Idk what that will entail, whether I will get other people involved or not is up in the air. And, it’s a longggggg ways away from happening. Thanks again for listening.

There’s no easy way to put this, but we are putting NSD on indefinite hiatus. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and was very thought out. We started this project to play music together and to have fun doing it. We eventually got to a place where we were practicing with a pretty solid line up. But, a couple months back it started to become pretty clear that all of us are very busy people. Being in a band is like being in a long term relationship. Kudos to all the bands out there fighting tooth and nail to stay together. I don’t think anyone realizes how hard it is, or how much you have to work at it. Sacrifices have to be made, big ones. Either way, this project saved my life and helped me figure out a very confusing time in my life. I’m so proud of Home Sweet Home. If you want to keep up with what Vinnie and I are up to, you can follow my hip hop project, Modist. And Vinnie runs a recording studio, and a space for live music called The Underground Studio, and Underground Listening Room! Our conversation about all of this was very positive, and, some day we may pick back up and get things going again. For now, we’re just grateful for the experience. Thanks to everyone who listened, bought an EP, or merch. It meant a lot to us. 🖤

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our guitarist, Jack. There’s absolutely no hard feelings between us, as the reason is circumstantial and there’s not much that can be done. We fully support Jack and encourage everyone to check out his solo project, Flannel Jack and support him in all of his endeavors. That being said, we are looking for another guitarist as of now. Spread the word.

Last night we had our first band meeting, and scheduled our first rehearsal. We are going to be hard at work over the next couple of months playing through our material and prepping for shows! We’ve got one more song dropping this year, and are planning to start writing new music sometime next year. Right now the focus is on us being friends and becoming as tight as possible for live shows. But, the future is bright! And we’re all so excited!!!

It’s time to bring the bangs back. It’s for pop punk!!!

It’s blink-182’s thirtieth anniversary as a band today. I remember being about eight years old and hearing Dammit on alternative rock radio, I was obsessed. Then the band released E***a of the State about a year or two later and became a house hold name, and my entire childhood and teenage years. This band means so much to NSD! Thanks for inspiring new and old pop punk bands all around the world!

What’s everyone’s favorite pop punk movie? I wanna say American Pie, but, that’s just too easy. I’m gonna have to go with The Sandlot. ‘Heroes get remembered, legends never die.’

Being a pop punker is always fun, because every Friday and Saturday is a double holiday. 🖤🤘🏻
