Caring for you knife
Hand wash only! As soon as you’re done, hand wash and dry throughly. If not it will rust.
I use 1095, 1084 and or 15N20 for every knife I make. A sharper and longer lasting edge is attainable vs. stainless steel. The trade off is the level of care required to keep your knife(s) pristine.
Kitchen knives should have a light coating of oil. (Canola, Veg. Etc.) Hunting and all other knives should have a coating of a good quality car wax. All scales(wooden handles) should have a coating of a quality paste wax.
Follow the above instructions and you’ll have a life long cutting instrument.I truly hope you enjoy your new knife as much as I did crafting it.
