Rolling off in the P2 spot tonight #56 of Ken Appleton on the poll..
Car was really tight in qualifying and had a little lag in the pedal. So we have made our changes and fix the lag so hopefully it's right for the show later tonight.

Well it's been a long work week up to this point we haven't touched any of the racecars all week. So lets see if we can't get this thing ready for tomorrow.

It's going to be a busy 2weeks!
We spun Blueberry around in qualifying and caused a little damage. Made the decision to go ahead replace everything now.
DRT picks up the win tonight. On the last restart my boy Lee ZeRuth went for a hell of a ride. The car held together and he walk away safe but he will feel it in the morning.

Well Bad News ... we are going to have to replace everything from the towers forward...pushed the front over a bit but it didn't hurt the towers. I'm going to have to take the shoulder brace off unfortunately because I have no range of motion with My left arm.
Good News is we are on the poll for the main with our new track best 17.554

Well we had the car loaded for TR but with the shoulder injury and the brace I ordered to limit my range of motion hasn't shown up yet. It's being parked tonight I don't need to tear the ligaments into and cause more damage. Hopefully the brace is in by Saturday morning if so i may be able to start and park at Sumter Speedway so we get last place points. The next race isn't until May 18th so hopefully we can heal some and race then.
Sumter race recap 4/27/24 .....
Video picks up on lap 4 we were sent to the rear of the field / longest line..ect for the contact on the #34 car and I have no problem with the call that the track made.
We drove our way from the back of the field to take 2nd place away from Jr Warren Racing he was driving a DRT car tonight. At this point I thought we had 6 laps togo. Jarrett Warren had about 7/8 car gap on us and we ran him down in a few laps but it turns out my lap count was off by one lap and I was late on making a move for the lead . Jarrett Warren beat us to the line by a car length. The fastest car doesn't always win but I'll take it tonight. Jarrett Warren also drove his way to the front of the field from the back of the pack due to a flat tire.
Huge congratulations to Jarret Warren and Jr Warren Racing on the win. He's only going to get better with time behind the wheel.
So this happened on like lap 3 or 4 and i was sent to the rear of the field 8th or 9th place I believe because of the contact and I have no problem with the tracks call. It wasn't done on purpose and it looked bad.
The lap before he had no problems getting back into the gas but on the next lap he just didn't get back into the gas like he should of I lifted but it was to late. Drivers want to get mad when they check up and then get ran into. This is close racing and I also had a car outside of me and behind me.
I've had it happen to me before and its unfortunate when it happens but don't try to fight when half of the wreck is your fault as well.

Well we are digging ourselves out of a whole tonight track is rough as hell..Blueberry starting P-4 and Pineberry starting P-6. Hopefully they get the track straightened out.
We spent all afternoon working on Pineberry here at the track.. Jr Warren may have found the main problem with it not turning...

Well it's Wednesday and we have just about wrapped everything up early on Blueberry for this weekend race at Sumter Speedway.
Now to get Pineberry ready for the MMSA Race at TR on May 3rd.

Rear camera... we would of had our first top5 finish in the MMSA Series but that was taken away tonight. I'm guessing the rules just don't apply to everyone when cars are allowed to get away with jumping the restart.
Talk about jumping the restart with 3 laps togo. Someone had clearly cleared me and was darn near door to door with #6 Massey as the leader fired. Front camera

Well we made a couple tweaks to Blueberry after last weekend's test run at sumter. I believe we have a shot at making it into the redraw this week. If I keep Blueberry pointed in the right direction we should have a solid run and finish well.
Just when you think you have Travis Mosley where you want him, then you realize he's just playing with you.. 🤣 😂
