Congratulations to the Ruritan Citizen of the Year, Garry Sears. Garry is the founder of Eleet Cryogenics in 1996

After spending more than 20 years working for two different major gas suppliers, Garry recognized the need for a company that focused on customer station rehab and associated equipment. With that target in mind the Eleet Cryogenics philosophy was born – “Give our customers quality service and products at a fair price, and treat each customer with the same importance.” Our focus has remained the same and Eleet has grown to become one of the most respected rehab shops in the country. We have an “ELEET” well trained and experienced workforce. A workforce that is second to none, and one of the main reasons why we are leading the industry.

1. Proud Tusky Valley district graduate
2. Strong supporter of TV schools and programs
3. Has sponsored youth sports teams and fundraising initiatives
3. Represents TVLS on Business Advisory Council
4. Has provided mentoring for students not sure about their future careers and endeavors, designing one of the most successful mentoring programs in the eyes of Buckeye Career Center.
5. Helped organize the Business Luncheon this past March to bring industry and the school together to talk about opportunities for students right here in Tuscarawas County.
6. One of the primary donors of the new state-of-the-art auditorium in the new middle-high school.

Garry was awarded the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Business Honor Roll Award in 2019.
