Jen - 2020:
This spot is a little gem in Venice. Bea and Henning’s vacation rental sits at the back of their property, tucked away so it feels very private. The space is outfitted with a garage door (so smart!) that opened the back patio area up for that inside/outside feel. We opened it in the morning and laid in bed - it was heaven and perfect for our little romantic getaway. All necessities were available in the house - towels, bathroom amenities, kitchenette, Bluetooth speakers, & plenty of books to get lost in too! Abbot Kinney is a quick bike ride away (bikes they provided to us!). All around perfect stay. Thanks for the chats and the hospitality Bea and Henning! We’ll have to come back for Bea’s body work!

Morgan - 2020:
We had an amazing stay at Henning and Bea’s place. Well appointed, beautifully landscaped and private even with a giant sliding door/window and an even bigger glazed garage door that opened up to the patio. Henning set us up with two basic beach cruisers that allowed us to easily explore the neighborhood and cruise along the beach bike path. An enormous bathtub big enough for two, fun record collection, and excellent Bluetooth stereo speaker system made it hard to leave. A quick walk or ride to great restaurants, Whole Foods and shopping on Abbott Kinney. Highly recommended.

Barry - 2019:
We had an amazing time at Bea and Henning's lovely spot. This studio is designed to inspire a sense of tranquility and beauty. The location is ideal, just blocks away from some of the greatest parts of Venice including the beach and wonderful restaurants and cafes. Nestled amidst a jungle of succulents and lined with thoughtful design touches and luxurious details including an enormous king size bed, a workable kitchen and gigantic soaking tub - this large studio was the perfect oasis! We are already looking forward to returning.

I can't express enough how sublime this space is. It truly is a retreat, tucked away with gorgeous views of the private garden and patio. The airy indoor outdoor aspect is divine and the overall feeling is one of comfort in a tasteful, intelligently and thoughtfully designed space, not to mention spotless! Biking and/or scootering distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. Didn't want to leave!

Bea & Henning are by far the best hosts we’ve ever encountered traveling. The space is beautiful and exceeds all expectations. Everything you could need is supplied and the space is private, comfortable, and quiet. While the space is amazing, it’s Bea & Henning that really make the space feel like home. They are extremely kind people and truly open up their home and family for their guest. We highly recommend staying in their place and hope to return soon!

We stayed for a week at Bea & Henning’s zen studio and truly had an amazing time. The space is so cool, especially with the garage door that opens into the outdoor patio. Bea & Henning are such great hosts and made sure everything was just perfect. They have beach cruiser bikes available to rent, and considering how nearby this is to Abbot Kinney and the beaches we were so close to all the action while still being on a quiet street. Thank you to Bea & Henning for hosting us on an incredible vacation. Book this air bnb! It’s a guaranteed great time :)

Bea and Henning are wonderful hosts! Their place is magical and I was sad to leave. The pictures are exactly as described. The space is quiet, immaculate, open yet cozy, and thoughtfully laid out. There is a place and a space for everything. I hope to return!

Heather - 2017:
This place is a true gem! The garage door opening up to a lush private backyard area is unreal. You'll find everything you need to make this the perfect landing pad. Conveniently located to Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu, we found it easy to bop around in Uber's to oceanfront destinations. Also close to LAX. Our flight was delayed but Bea and Henning's excellent directions for keyless entry made it easy to check in late without a problem. Highly recommend this place and we will definite be back the next time we're in LA!

Susanne - 2017:
Loved our stay at Bea and Hennings beautiful casita! In addition to the space itself with the retractable wall, it is clean and very comfortable. You can easily park at the home, you can easily walk to great coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We had dinner at Clutch and got our coffee freshly ground at Ground Work. We went for a run on Venice boardwalk and if you are into exercise Barry's Bootcamp is close by and FlyWheel is a short car ride away. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment, cruiser bikes for rent and if we had more time we would have booked Bea for a body work session. This place is a true gem - hope to be back soon!

David - 2017:
Bea and Henning (and Zoe) were wonderful hosts! Their warm and welcoming presence add to the beauty and comfort of their zen studio. Their attention to detail is evident in their hosting style and all the little touches in the apartment. We loved the location - off the beaten path enough for quiet serenity, and accessible enough to shops and the beach to enjoy Venice. The perfect vacation spot to recharge. We will be back!

Matthew - 2016:
Henning and Bea are wonderful hosts ,being there if needed with helpful suggestions on local hot spots, Resturants, coffee shops, groceries store and more! The studio is well appointed, comfortable and secluded. A perfect get away from a busy day of exploring beautiful LA.
We had a great time and were able to relax and enjoy the outside sitting area.
Definitely would be back when visiting Venice again!

Celby - 2016:
An amazingly delicate and unique space. Bea and Henning have obviously put so much thought into the layout and design. We appreciated how helpful they were getting us checked-in/out as we were arriving a bit later and needed a place to store bags after check out while we rented our car for the PCH. If you have the chance to stay here, take it!
