Let’s all help our friend, family, brother from another mother, recover and get home.

For any of you who don’t know yet, Jerry was in a plane crash in North Carolina. He’s critical and and has a long road ahead, but the good news is that he is alive and suffered no brain trauma. I’ll attach the news article in the comments.

This was an interesting one. Peep the sound bar. And yes the subwoofer is hidden somewhere in there too.

And this is my other favorite. This one mirrors the other bathroom (refer to previous post). The same concept was applied to this one utilizing different wall tile and color selections. A huge thank you to my friend for giving us the opportunity to update these for you!

Here is one of my two favorite remodels. It’s a great example of a refresh where no plumbing was relocated other than the shower drain after we removed the tub (peep the shower drains). The vanities were not replaced, but just refinished. The countertops replaced. New tile, paint, lighting and hardware. I’ll post the other part next.

Our client wanted some built-in shelves but we had to figure out how to do it without making the room feel smaller and without blocking too much light. Here’s what I came up with.

Another Bathroom we did. The shower wall got replaced with glass. The vanity got relocated as well as the window. This was for my good buddy and credit given where it’s due, we may have done the work, but this is his design. He picked all colors tile and layout.

Quick Flip we did for a real estate investor! We had this completely transformed in the course of about 4-5 weeks.

Here is a a fun project we did for my in-laws. This started off off as water damage repair near Austin after the freeze of 2021, where most of the Austin area lost power and many home’s water supply pipes busted. This project evolved into repairing one bedroom and enlarging the other by about 30 sq ft or so.

Sooo we haven’t exactly been staying on top of posting our work. But I’m trying to do better! That said, I’ll be updating y’all with a few of the projects we’ve completed since our last post in January 2021.

Here is a quick shower retile and whirlpool bath tub install we did back in March of that year.

So this one was interesting! Parts of this home were Sheetrocked incorrectly from the beginning (from what we can tell). The clients had someone come in to make some modifications and repairs, but they were also done incorrectly. That’s not even the worst part. He never finished... so we came in and did all the finish work at TOP NOTCH quality and then, as per the customers request, added wood trim around the passage ways. No it’s not prefabbed moulding, we actually ripped these to size on a table saw from 1x8 and encased each opening. We also exposed the beam that you can see in one of the pictures below. We encased the opposite side to hide the gas line for the fireplace and capped the bottom, so as to make it look like one solid piece.
WE WILL NEVER A LEAVE A JOB UNFINISHED💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Here’s a restroom we did over the holidays. This one also involved replacing the old drainage underground with new. We always connect to the sewer line outside so that everything under the home is new. BUT after a floor is closed up no one ever sees that. HOWEVER... this one is more obvious due to rearranging the restroom at the clients request. I must give credit where due. It was her idea to rearrange. Good taste.

HERE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!! The photos tell the tale. We always strive for absolute perfection while creating something we AND the customer are truly proud of!!

Yet another restroom remodel! We converted this one from a single sink vanity to a his/hers which involved opening the wall after demo and restructuring the rough-in plumbing layout to accommodate. This was followed up with closing the wall, taping, and retexturing, and demolishing that weird little divider wall. The tile choice by the customer turned out gorgeous!

This project involved cutting through 6” of concrete to replace old leaking plumbing (cast iron) with new Schedule 40 PVC. The customers were having to call a plumber to unclog the shower every week or so. The culprit? Rotten pipes. So rotten it was actually missing in some places and had roots occupying the pipe that was still somewhat intact. Of course we recemented upon completion. If you have constant plumbing issues, you may have issues with your pipes!!

The hustle was real. We moved and poured over 5 cu yards of concrete with just two wheel barrows in under an hour and had both slabs finished and broomed in just over 2 hours total!! We can do it all!

Two slabs we poured to extended the existing driving driveway and set a new slab for the the bigger shed.

Shed/Shop Build. Scroll to the first photo. We actually had to pull the old structure down with the truck bc it wasn’t stable enough for us to climb up and demo down.

This fun little project may look like just a repaint. However we actually had to replace 90% of the fascia and soffit around the entire home as well as replace some of the actual rafter ends which had been rotted out by water damage. We used an airless sprayer for perfect coverage and adhesion.

This one involved a tub-to-shower conversion, added storage with built in shelves and an actual vanity with cabinet as well as relocating the commode to it’s correct location, 12” from the finished wall (originally 18” from the wall utilizing a 2x4 to support it 🤦🏻‍♂️). We also had to reinforce the floor joists to support it properly. Lastly we tiled the shower, floor, and wainscoting (yes those tiles were done one by one and did not come on a preadhered sheet), painted and installed the trim. Fun fact: this particular house is around a century old!

This is the very first restroom remodel I ever did! It involved demolishing most of the trim (ie tile, vanity, lighting, outlets, mouldings, etc). I then built in two shower niches and a small, corner bench. Followed up with a retile of the shower and stone on the floor and all new trim.
