Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to take in any animals. We had to move from Mathews and just do not have any extra room right now. We will open the rescue back up when we find a location with more land. There are other rescues in the area that are still taking in animals. Petfinder.com has a list of them. Please check with them. Thank you for helping to save every animal that you can.

She has had her feet done and dewormed. She has been saddled, bathed and worked with on ground manners so far.

She’s a very skittish girl, we worked our way up to this point, she did good the other day! Once you get to know her she’s a lot better and let’s you touch all over her but if she don’t know you she gets so afraid. Just watch those ears.

When seeing the fear in a horses eyes not knowing there past and only knowing what comes next. All you can do is show them they are going to be okay and there’s no need to be afraid anymore….Showing them love and trust is the best thing I have ever done

She was recently rescued 3 weeks ago by a gentleman that we rehomed her from. She is supposed to be 6-9 years old and is a gaited pinto mare. We are beyond thankful that she was rescued out of the situation that she was in and is now in our hands.
