That’s a wrap for the 4th Annual Orange FFA Premier Agriculture Career Experience. Today was focused on leadership, team and soft skills training. It’s been a great 3 days helping students set their PACE to career success.

Day 2 of PACE was another great one. Today was spent at UF for an animal science, entomology and college career experience.

The 1st day of the 4th Annual OCPS FFA PACE (Premier Agriculture Career Experience) was another great one for our students. Stay tuned for Day 2.

Congratulations to the SunRidge MS FFA on their state middle school land evaluation championship plus state high scorer and Orlando-Colonial HS FFA on their 5th in state honor.

-> Held a mock session in the Florida chambers and passed our own bill
-> They participated in an in-depth tour of FAMU and their various agricultural opportunities
-> Members also explored the Florida Capitol building

23-24 Orange County FFA Federation Florida Capitol Day was a great success. Members conducted a mock legislative session, toured the state capitol and had a great lunch plus a tour at FAMU College of Agriculture.

Thank you US Congressman Webster for visiting the National FFA Champion Food Science & Technology team today from West Orange HS FFA.

Congratulations West Orange HS FFA National Champion Food Science & Technology CDE team on your recognition by the Orange County Mayor and County Commission with a proclamation declaring February 20, 2024 as “West Orange FFA Chapter Day”. What a way to celebrate National FFA Week!

Thank you to all the members, parents, advisors, and guests who came out this past week and were a part of our Sea Of Blue! The National Champion Food Science Team from West Orange was recognized by the OCPS school board, and our own Federation President, Kaley Henderson, read the proclamation that made National FFA week official in OCPS schools!

This past month, our Orange County FFA members participated in the annual OC Fed Leadership Conference! They learned how it takes Devotion, Connection, and Communication to strengthen their leadership skills in their chapters. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Our National Champion Food Science & Technology CDE Team was recognized at tonight’s OCPS school board meeting and Kaley Henderson, Orange County FFA Federation President, did an outstanding job presenting the National FFA Week proclamation.

Our FFA Federation Vice-President, Sophia Young from Horizon HS, was asked to present the proclamation for National CTE month at tonight’s OCPS School Board Meeting. Sophia- way to represent!

Last night, the West Orange HS FFA National Champion Food Science & Technology CDE team was recognized and presented keys to the city by the Winter Garden Mayor and City Commissioners. Congratulations!
