Oil sketch of" Miriam", with drawing corrections in charcoal done on mahogany panel. First day, first time I have used these panels, not quite as smooth as I am used to, we will see.

Several years ago I painted this for returning clients, I had painted her sister in more of a traditional way.... but decided to emphasize this one's huge eyes and rosebud mouth. I enjoyed painting both of the girls and using a different approach.

"A Spot of Tea and French Pastry"
I started this painting with acrylic on a board then decided to go over with oil paints.... loved the soft look that I achieved. I experiment a lot and will use this method more often.
