Selling two tickets to see Charlotte FC vs Atlanta at Bank of America Stadium at the end of August. Due to unforeseen circumstances we can’t go!
Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta United FC Sat Aug 31 2024, 7:30 PM Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
We are 1 month into our year of no weddings and now we have FOMO
Saturday was something for the books. When I say you can’t meet a nicer group than this, I mean it. I’ve never felt so loved by a wedding party (and all their parents too) They made Saturday (my last wedding of the year) so memorable and special.
Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Jones
Disrupting our usual wedding content with an *important* announcement.
Very bittersweet to say we are temporarily closing. For those of you who did not know, I had a baby in February this year via c-section (like many other moms). I took two weeks off my computer, and went back to the planning world after. Since then, I’ve done ~a countless and insane number of weddings~ all in my old home state of NC, which is now a 10 hour drive for us. Since my daughter’s birth, I’ve spent around 180 hours driving away from her and back to her. This has mapped about to be about 30 days, 30 days that I’ve missed her life and all her little milestones.
So without droning on further - I’m taking some time off to be with my daughter and love on her endlessly. We (Brianna and I) love helping you all celebrate your love, and this is my way of celebrating mine 🙂
In the meantime we will be gathering all our portfolios and reviews for our return in the future and reminding you of all the important wedding to-dos. But for now, our books are closed for all of 2024 so we can soak up the years we won’t get back. Weddings will be around forever, but time with her at this age will not 💕
Sigh, yesterday was a dream. We are so lucky to get to work with such amazing vendors like who are constantly reading our minds at every turn and producing beautiful memories like this.
Yesterday we made a lot of T.Swift Magic thanks to our amaze vendor partners.

10.14.23 will forever be my favorite date so far.
K+C are strolling into their almost married era.. just 22 days until these two lovers say “I do” 💍
This is J&J. Earlier this week, groom J was texting me about an update on the name of the plus 1 for one of his guests. Meanwhile, within seconds, and not having spoken to eachother yet about wedding things that day, bride J, in a completely different location, was also texting me about guest list items. It’s been like this.. the whole process!! To say these two are meant to be is an understatement. We are nearing the two week mark for J&J and couldn’t be more excited to celebrate them.
✨ Fields of Gold ✨

An unforgettable day for C+B. An intimate wedding with 14 of their closest family members and incredible memories.
Thank you to the vendors who helped us make the day PERFECT for this couple. They are so happy and were stunned by all your amazing attention to detail!
- AMAZING food
This wedding was like no other wedding we’ve ever done! And these two are probably some of the coolest people we’ve met.
Fun Facts that made this wedding so unique:
-it was on a farm, like a REAL farm, 10 minutes from downtown. If you look closely you might see some sheep in the background of ceremony photos.
-the groom did the florals for the receptacles around the tent area and chose the flowers for the ceremony and reception. He LOVES flowers.
-there were several kilts worn by guests with Scottish heritage and we loved it.
More pics from this wedding coming soon!

This beautiful and model couple are getting married in less than 1 month and are celebrating this weekend as fiancées for the last time in the mountains. Jealous? Us too. But we know we will have even more fun with them in Raleigh!!
Hello there, April.
You’re finally here and have so much to offer weddings during this time of year. At a glance you show us beautiful flowers that are coming in season, from tulips to daffodils and even lilacs & peonies. Fun colors to play with such as mint, lavender, blush and earthy tones like dusty rose & sage. And the best part, outdoor venues to either have your ceremony / reception or both!
Thanks for showing up April, we cannot wait to see what other great opportunities you bring!

Some introductions are in order..
Meet Brianna ✨ Brianna serves as Adoria Events’ Lead Event Assistant. Brianna has been with us since our start and is as in tune with all our clients’ as we are. Brianna is anything you need her to be on your wedding day, from guest concierge, to dance partner, pep talker and decision tie breaker. When you work with us, we know you’ll love her as much as we do.
Won for our people and Chosen by our people. We couldn’t have won this award if it wasn’t for all of our couples who entrusted us with their wedding. So happy to share we’ve been selected as a winner of the Best of Weddings for NC planners by our clients.
I was never athletically inclined, so you will see a plaque on my wall for this to make up for all my trophyless years as a child.
Hoping to see disco balls carry in to 2023 because they are meant to make you do a little dance, share a little love and get down at every wedding you attend. And there’s nothing more magical than the glimmer of a discoball.
We will forever advocate for asking guests to RSVP! I recently received a wedding invitation in the mail from one of my husband's friends. I probably checked the invite, trash and the envelope 3 times each to see if I missed where to RSVP. Current and future brides-- listen here:
You can save yourself more money in the long run by ordering RSVP's! We could be biased because this also helps with our favorite thing- assigned seating. But, you can only guesstimate your guest count without a RSVP, which can cost you thousands of dollars in extra seating, place settings, floral settings, decor and bar (not to mention the extra food and worse, WASTED food) without an accurate estimation of guests. If you prefer not to use the extra paper- asking guests to RSVP on your invite can save you the money here!
A few of our most memorable and favorite moments from this wedding include:
-Barefoot wedding party and guests
-Local products from Biltmore Wines, Wicked W**d Beers, and farm to table food
-The PERFECT florals and this cutie patootie peace sign
-The S'Mores bar that we maybe tested for quality control
We are just dying to get back to the mountains these days!
Feeling super sentimental about this March Wedding at the Bradford today. The best thing ever as a vendor is getting to connect and make relationships with your client and R+B are our lifers. At one point, a fellow vendor at this wedding asked how we knew each other because it appeared that we had a close bond and that's just how we like living.
If you're getting married this year- read this.
*Get a vow book for your vows
*Get a vow book for your vows
*Get a vow book for your vows
The last thing you want is your photographer capturing you and your spouse reading your vows (in front of the beautiful arch your florists created after countless meetings, in the suit or dress you spent hours finding, and at the venue you hand-picked.. ok, you get it right?), on your Iphone. Equally so, a piece of lined or plain paper, can feel lackluster and counterintuitive to the beauty of the moment. Just do it- you won't regret it
Sharing some lessons we've learned the hard way when we first got started 7 years ago- so you don't have to.
1. Expect that something will always be forgotten and have a backup. This is essentially true for everything. Especially if your client has opted to plan their own sweet soiree. Did they check off that they have a cake stand or a base for the flatlay? Bring one of each anyway.
2. Double, no, triple, no, quadruple check addressing and names. No matter how many times you look- with all the other details running through the mind at the time- you can ALWAYS miss something. It could be that it was given to you spelled incorrectly or maybe the invitation printer printed it wrong.
3. OVER BUDGET FOR FLOWERS. Regardless of how important florals are for your client (unless they want literally none but a bouquet), over order flowers, almost insist on it. Budget more for flowers than what you think. And don't be afraid to let them know that they need to allocate more. The LAST thing you want is for your client to be disappointed that things look sparse. What's made this especially true is the flower shortage from COVID. You NEVER know when something like this will happen again.
It's been a long beautiful ride, and we are grateful for the lessons we've learned over the years, but if we can help you avoid making some of these errors- then maybe that's better for everyone.
Affectionately, we just call them J&J. They're fun, love outdoor activities (she really did walk in the mountains in that dress), love a good design, and they're ready for their Fall 2023 wedding. Love ya J&J
Ready to take on 2023! We have so many exciting designs coming to 2023 that we simply can't wait for. Will there be T. Swift? Yes. Will there be jewel tones? Yes. Will there be several homage to college sweetheart love? ABSOLUTELY. And I think there might be a baby born in the mix too..
Winter weddings hold a NEW special place in our heart. There’s nothing more wholesome than watching a group of people brave the cold and deliver some of the best smiling faces for two people they care about the most.
Cheers to you, Mr. and Mrs. Briggs
