Be different than other hairstylists… what sets you apart from the next person who does what you do, is it service, skill, efficiency, personality, convenience, all of the above? This is a business now, you have to take into account what the people who are also in your industry are doing and determine what it is that sets you apart, be unique 4. Keep track of your finances… yes, hairstyling can be a very profitable industry to be in , but it’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much money you keep , and the only way to determine that is if you are paying close attention to profit and loss.
