Plant Homes and Ear Dangles A love found in clay and creation. I have had many, many hobbies and creative addictions through out the years.
I have always needed to do something creative with my hands, since before I can remember. When I was young, I loved "creating" my own clothes for my dolls and Barbie's. I would draw, doodle, write stories, anything I could to release my creativity. Then in high school, I took a sewing class and started making clothes for my newborn siblings. That evolved to making jewelry, wire wrapping, crochetin
g, knitting, etc. Some time in 2018 - I found a video (I wish I could remember which one it was, so I could credit it) where a woman was making earrings from polymer clay. There in started a long spiral that led me to where I am now. I started by attempting and failing at making earrings as I tried to grapple with the different brands of clay and different techniques. After much binge watching on YouTube - and research of different clay, I made my first successful dragon statuette. That evolved to bowls, various earrings, and covering surfaces. Then in early 2020, during the quarantine, I became obsessed with plants. With this obsession came decorating pots for all of my new plant babies. This is where we stand. You can find both myself and my young (7 year old) son in my craft room most days. You may even find some of his creations in my shop when his desire to increase his piggy bank outweighs his desire to keep his creations. I love LOVE earrings, and this is why with almost everything I make, there will be a matching pair of earrings included. I hope you love my creations - as much as I love making them.
