This is the time of year when our compassionate network of supporters begin to plan donation drives and purchase gifts to benefit our program participants. We're always amazed by the outpouring of support we receive around the holidays, and especially this year we will be leaning on our community.

Due to COVID-19, we are encouraging supporters to donate gift cards (to stores such as Walmart, Target, Stop & Shop, CVS, Walgreens) in lieu of presents. By donating gift cards, you're helping FBMS preserve space, reduce travel between sites, and limit in-person drop-offs.

Also, to help reduce in-person drop-offs, we have established an Amazon Gift List, in which you can purchase our highest-need items and send them directly to our Donation Distribution Center. Shop now at tinyurl.com/fbmsgifts. Gifts from this list will help fill special holiday gift bags, which we'll be assembling for our guests experiencing homelessness later this month.

If you are planning to drop off donations in person, deliveries must be scheduled in advance by calling 508-427-6448 or by emailing [email protected]. More info at helpfbms.org/holidays.

All donations can be mailed to or dropped off at 430 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Thank you for supporting our mission this holiday season!

BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL OPEN WITH REMOTE LEARNING FOR THE FIRST TERM.
The school committee voted a few minutes ago to have remote learning for the first term which ends November 19th, 2020. However, a review of this model of learning will be reviewed periodically and parents would receive at least three (3) weeks advance notice if the remote learning policy were to change. The vote came after hearing information about a rise in the infection rate for COVID-19 here in the city. Thanks for reading this.
