Great job CTE!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Students in Adobe InDesign at NHS completed their final projects. They were encouraged to use InDesign paired with other graphic design technology such as the Glowforge and Cricut machines. Students were to create a project and take their idea through the entire creative process. Some of the final projects included typography posters, notebooks, suncatchers, shirts, and stickers.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Manzers!!!
THANK YOU both for your dedication to the students at ECPPS!

Mr. and Mrs. Manzer each received the Education Foundation of Elizabeth City Pasquotank County Impact Grants for 2024-2025. One $1000 grant will go to purchase plants to help restock Greenhouse #1 after the renovations from the North Carolina To***co Trust Fund Grant are completed, and the second $1000 grant will go to purchase small sets of 9 different children's picture books to aid Northeastern Agriculture's Farm Hands peer led agricultural literacy programs. Students benefit from having stocked greenhouses on campus to have access to plants for identification practice as well as for hands on greenhouse management experience. All ECPPS students in K-12 benefit from the Farm Hands program as high school student leaders get to share a variety of agriculture knowledge and skills with their younger peers. This will now include more cross curricular activities related to reading and comprehension, along with science.
